Buckets galore! The shooters I've identified here are ones who are natural off-ball players for the most part, although many of them are comfortable with ballhandling duties. That being said, I wanted to really key in on those players who I find to be most effective playing off the catch or with limited dribbles. Get familiar with some of the best floor spacers in Vermont!

[player_tooltip player_id='645602' first='Cassidy' last='Kittredge'], 5'11 W - St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2025

Kittredge is just a deadeye shooter; Cassidy's shooting off the catch is likely the most efficient in the state. The form is just right, the release quick, she knocks shots down everywhere on the floor, and with her height and length there are few who can really challenge her. Moreover, she shows up in big moments. Her 13-points led all scorers in the D1 Final, most of which came off of spot up 3s or nice relocation for mid-range buckets. She does it in the flow of the offense and is someone who'll roast a defense on just a handful of shots. So reliable and she doesn't need the ball for much time at all.

[player_tooltip player_id='649627' first='Brooke'lyn' last='Robinson'], 5'8 G - Lyndon Institute Class of 2024

Robinson played a lot of 1 this year, but naturally she's a 2. Brooke'lyn's efficient decision making is one of my favorite parts of her game. She has the floor scanned and knows instantaneously whether she's pulling, driving, or passing. Her jumper has extensive range on it, able to creep back a few feet from the arc. Moreover, she's shown it off the catch and the bounce this year. She's the best shooter in D2 and is connective, smart, and can really spray the jumper. A 1,000 point scorer that had multiple games with 5+ booms from 3.

[player_tooltip player_id='645675' first='Meghan' last='Thompson'], 5'8 G - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2025

There are a lot of players who pass up shots after a few early misses. Thompson is not one of those players, and that's one thing I love about her game. The mindset stays the same. Meghan's an active mover off the ball who runs hard into her spots and catches, finds balance, and gets the shot up. Her release is quick, she has good range on the 3, and has shown nice attacks on closeouts to slice into the 2nd layer, keeping the D honest. A microwave shooter who can mix defenses up with her slashing too.

[player_tooltip player_id='576153' first='Alexa' last='Rabidoux'], 5'7 G - Essex H.S. Class of 2025

It's clear that Lexi has put the time in. Rabidoux's shooting touch has improved to the point that opponents are game planning on how to take away her looks. She's showcased that she can put the rock in the bucket off the bounce or the catch, using her threatening slashing ability and handle to create space. She's another avid mover off the ball, understanding how to read defensive coverages as she comes off screens. An increasingly dynamic scorer who has come into her own as a shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='645777' first='Bella' last='Schultz Mitchell'], 5'9 G/W - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2025

I've been so impressed with Bella over the past couple seasons. Her game quickly evolved from being a swiss-army knife role player to someone who's relied upon for her creation and scoring ability as well. Schultz Mitchell has displayed that she can get the jumper going out of various scenarios, whether she's pulling-up off a ball screen, catching a kick out, or running the wing in transition. Add in her physical slashing ability and she's someone who can hurt defenses inside or out with variety. Versatile bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id='446536' first='Nicole' last='Norton'], 5'8 G/W - Colchester H.S. Class of 2024

I love a player that has a go-to move and a killer counter. Norton's combination of athleticism, toughness, and length molded her into an adept slasher early in her H.S. career. That being said, Nicole quickly developed the jumper and has flourished into a sound catch-and-shoot scorer. She finds defensive gaps well amid rotations, will attack the rack when wise, and will certainly knock it down from deep. Her optionality between the athletic rim scoring and jump shooting, plus the tactical passing, makes her a tough two-level cover.

[player_tooltip player_id='645601' first='Sabine' last='Brueck'], 5'8 G - North Country Union H.S. Class of 2025

Sabine does pretty much everything but were focused on shooting. Brueck's blossomed into a serious shooting threat with range that goes back a few feet from the 3. She played the 1 for NCU and it allowed her to develop her shot off the bounce, showing she can knock it down when stepping into it from deep, off a ball screen, or at times in transition. Moreover, she's an athletic and absolutely lethal slasher, it's her foundation. So, defenses have to choose between the two, and it doesn't feel good to give up either. Talented and an utter athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='654918' first='Merrill' last='Jacobs'], 5'8 W - Champlain Valley Union H.S. Class of 2024

Merrill has this x-factor feel to her game. Jacobs's perimeter play is deeply rooted in high-IQ action with her off-ball movement, decision making, and shooting touch. She has a good feel for matchups and balances her decisions well between post feeds, continual ball movement, and the jumper. That work keeps the defense honest and keeps her efficiency steady. Merrill's a catch-and-shoot player who knocks down 3s, can hit the mid-range, and remains steady regardless of outcomes. Dependable.

[player_tooltip player_id='649622' first='Maya' last='Auger'], 5'8 G - North Country Union H.S. Class of 2024

When Auger gets going, she really gets going. Maya's flashed a deep bag of tricks, able to get her shot off in myriad ways. She's a sound spot-up shooter, especially when the ball comes out of the interior. Yet she's also shown she can get it rolling off the dribble, navigating ball screens or breaking a defender down. Plus, when she mixes it up with drives, the defense begins to second guess and space opens. Consistency is a thing, but the talent and ability is there.

[player_tooltip player_id='649634' first='Lily' last='Briggs'], 5'8 G - Fair Haven Union H.S. Class of 2024

One of the better shooters in D2 is Briggs. With Lily, it's classic 2-guard stuff. She's a smart mover off the ball, spots-up well with FHU's inside presence, and has some range on the 3 which forces defenders to come out above the arc. Additionally, Briggs has the decision making and feel to understand the game situationally, making good reads not only of the defense but of the game at large.

Buckets galore! The shooters I've identified here are ones who are natural off-ball players for the most part, although many of them are comfortable with ballhandling duties. That being said, I wanted to really key in on those players who I find to be most effective playing off the catch or with limited dribbles.
