The PGH D3 co-Player of the Year is a young lady who has dealt with and recovered from a season ending ACL as a junior, but came back stronger than ever this year trying to get her team another state title this weekend. Kam is a strong physical presence with great hands around the basket, long and athletic with very solid moves and footwork in the paint. Can be intimidating defensively with her aggressive style, she is such a force on the boards, and look for her to do great things at the next level.
Maddie Moody
Maddie Moody
Maddie has more than earned this honor to share the D3 Player of the Year with Kam after another great season. She is such a force everywhere on the court, will step out and drain the three or post up and score in the paint on anyone. She averaged 17 points per game and earned POY in her league and Southwest District. Her game has transformed the past few years and is a dominant player!
Megan Zimmerman
Megan Zimmerman
Megan is quite the athlete, not only an incredible soccer player but also her skills on the basketball court are very strong. She is a guard who not only can handle the rock from the point guard spot, play uptempo and not worry about being pressured, but she also can knock down the three or get to the rim and finish. She averaged over 20 points per game, 8 rebounds and 4 steals. She is a legit baller!!
Sienna flies under the radar, but her game is as good as anyone in her class. Love the way she moves without the ball, gets open and will score. Great hands and length, able to play the passing lanes well, defend and deflects to force mistakes. She was named Player of the Year in Southeast Ohio and will lead her team to Dayton for the Final Four.
Elise picked up some good honors for her strong senior season, as she averaged 14.5 points per game and was named to the first-team all-Northeast District team. She plays the game with a lot of passion and has a high motor. Able to score from anywhere and can play uptempo. She is committed to playing for one of the nations top D3 programs at Baldwin Wallace.
Lauren Miller
Lauren Miller
When I was looking for some great highlights from Lauren’s game, she showed me one thing… she can shoot the basketball! An outstanding perimeter game, Lauren isn’t afraid to let it fly and for good reason. She can run off big scoring runs and led her team with nearly 20 points per game. She was also honored as the Player of the Year in the Southeast District!
What a year for Lyv! She is a scoring machine and has set records as Delphos Jefferson. She was named the Player of the Year in Northwest Ohio and put together such a memorable senior season. She is a great athlete with handles, a very good basketball IQ and the ability to drop 30 on any given night. Headed to Tiffin to play her college basketball next season.
Speaking of record holders, this young lady here is so talented and finished off her career with.a great senior season! She had 15. games this season with over 20 points, and five with 30+. She finished the season averaging 22.5 points per game and 5.5 rebounds and is headed to St. Francis to play her college basketball! Great shooter, gets downhill well and can finish. Solid on-ball defender and forces mistakes.
