Cor Jesu has been on a remarkable run this month. They had a strong season overall and have really kicked it into second gear as of late. They play from the inside-out. [player_tooltip player_id='460896' first='Lauren' last='Ortwerth'] is a strong post player who both scores and creates. She commands the block and rebounds way better than most prospects her age. Kickapoo is a historically strong program who will scout well and look very prepared. Not many teams are as well coached as they are. The two guards [player_tooltip player_id='303495' first='Mikayla' last='Pilley'] and Josei Salazar make this team go. Their youth and enthusiasm are very noticeable. The Chiefs play unselfish basketball and understand that winning is a team effort. Kickapoo will be expected to win this game, however, upsets happen all the time this part of the year. Expect this to be an exciting game with a number of good 2025 and 2026 prospects on the floor at all times.

March 15th at 4:00pm Incarnate Word vs. Rock Bridge

Key Players: [player_tooltip player_id='624398' first='Nevaeh' last='Caffey'], [player_tooltip player_id='366817' first='Zoe' last='Best'], [player_tooltip player_id='302784' first='Peyton' last='Hill'], [player_tooltip player_id='351752' first='Jayda' last='Porter'], [player_tooltip player_id='302783' first='Mari' last='Miller']

Role Players: [player_tooltip player_id='194395' first='Kaylynn' last='Janes'], [player_tooltip player_id='361695' first='Abbie' last='Sextro'], [player_tooltip player_id='302782' first='Elli' last='Porter']

Another year, another final four for Incarnate Word. This is a yearly ritual for Dan Rolfes who has this team on a 125+ game winning streak. It's a tough game and feeling for teams who are set to compete against them at this stage. While anybody has a chance to upset them, it feels improbable at this current time. One thing is for sure, in order to beat IWA you're going to need plenty of talent. Rock Bridge has plenty of talent. From 6'4 [player_tooltip player_id='351752' first='Jayda' last='Porter'] to their guard duo of [player_tooltip player_id='302783' first='Mari' last='Miller'] and [player_tooltip player_id='302782' first='Elli' last='Porter'], they can compete with this team. It's going to take an amazing game plan to keep the game close and give themselves a chance late. Being able to weather the 3rd quarter storm is always key vs. this team. Coach Rolfes does an excellent job of adjusting his pressure defense and keeping teams uncomfortable. These two games at state will also give junior [player_tooltip player_id='624398' first='Nevaeh' last='Caffey'] a chance to prove why she might be the Gatorade POY in Missouri. An Indiana commit, she does everything for this team. This is a rematch of last season at Missouri State. Both teams returned a lot and will compete once again for a trip to the championship game.
