These Class of 2026 standouts really made a name for themselves in the Garden State this season and emerged as ones to watch moving forward, especially transitioning over to AAU. Their excellent play from regular season to post-season saw both their stats and stocks soar to new heights!

[player_tooltip player_id='559037' first='Taylor' last='Sofilkanich'] | St. John Vianney

State Rank #9 | Position Rank #1

With just under 300 points scored this season, Taylor had it going on from December through March. Some of her best performances came against some of the state's top ranked teams and some nationally ranked foes as well. She opened up her sophomore campaign with a 25-point performance against national power Dr. Phillips (FL), posted 18 points and 10 rebounds against NJ's top-ranked public school Ewing and dropped 15 points, pulled down 7 rebounds and swatted away 5 shots vs state power Montclair Immaculate. With averages of 9.9 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 1.3 apg & 1.9 bpg, Taylor was definitely a menacing presence on both ends of the court for the Lady Lancers.

[player_tooltip player_id='601267' first='Mia' last='Washington'] | Pope John

State Rank #10 | Position Rank #3

Mia burst into the Top 10 in this update thanks to a ferocious Year 2. She commanded the guard spot and led Pope John in 3-pointers this season with 30. She posted four 20+ points games, including a season-high 27 against eventual Group 3 state finalist Chatham. Mia averaged double-digit points and went on a twenty-eight game stretch where she consecutively scored in double-figures! She averaged 14.4 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 1.4 apg & 1.6 spg to help guide the Lions to a 25-5 overall record and an appearance in the Non-Public A state final.

[player_tooltip player_id='601341' first='Sophia' last='Georgiades'] | Ridge

State Rank #14 | Position #5

Sophia is easily one of the most electric point guards in the entire state who can easily light it up and drop 20+ on any given night. Her skill-set goes beyond her scoring prowess also as she has superb court vision and puts the clamps on defensively. She led the Red Devils in scoring, assists and steals with averages of 15.5 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 2.3 apg & 3.0 spg. With six double-doubles and career-highs of 34 points (vs Morris Knolls), 14 rebounds (vs Watchung Hills) and 12 steals (Bridgewater-Raritan), Sophia showed up and showed out all season long. Her laser-focus and hunger helped Ridge make an appearance in the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 quarterfinals.

[player_tooltip player_id='601410' first='Lyla' last='Stokes'] | Waldwick

State Rank #41 | Position Rank #11

Lyla's upped production from a season ago was fun to track. She scored in double-digits in nineteen games, including four 20+ points games, imposed her will on the glass as a fearless rebounding guard and got after it defensively applying stiff ball pressure and blocking a ton of shots! Lyla averaged 12.9 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.8 apg, 1.9 bpg & 2.7 spg while leading Waldwick to the semis of North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1.

[player_tooltip player_id='871200' first='Reagan' last='Powell'] | Middle Township

State Rank #60 | Position Rank #17

One of the sophomore class's biggest stock risers, Reagan was flat-out tenacious as the season rolled on but especially in the state tournament! She led the South Jersey, Group 2 Sectional Champs in scoring and rebounding while posting averages of 8.6 ppg & 6.2 rpg. With four double-doubles and fourteen games in double-digit scoring, she gave the Panthers a fearless presence on the floor game after game. Reagan's scorching playoff run saw averages of 14.6 ppg & 8.0 rpg as she truly saved the best for when it mattered most!

[player_tooltip player_id='856918' first='Madison' last='Sciarrino'] | Freehold Township

State Rank #70 | Position Rank #21

Madi ranked third on her team in scoring while leading them in rebounding, assists and blocks all from the guard spot. Her versatility was key for the Patriots who made a run to the quarters of Central Jersey, Group 4 just a few weeks ago. She had career numbers across the board, posting four double-doubles, ten games in double-digit scoring including a 20-point performance against Monroe. Her production served as the difference-maker in several close games this season: 14 points in 5 point win vs Freehold Boro, 18 points in a 13-point win vs Long Branch, 12 points in a 4-point win vs Shore, 12 points in an 8-point playoff win vs East Brunswick. Madi posted final season averages of 8.6 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.6 apg, 1.2 bpg & 1.3 spg.

[player_tooltip player_id='601414' first='Angela' last='Wilber'] | Wildwood

State Rank #74 | Position Rank #22

At a generous 5'3", Angie can be described as "small but mighty" as she boasts a big game complete with lethal sniper-like shooting from behind the arc. Playing for one of, if not the best 3-point shooting team in the state, she drilled seventy-seven long balls, accounting for 26% of Wildwood's staggering 298 total. Her all-court was sharp this season, posting averages of 10.9 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 2.2 apg & 1.4 spg. With three 20+ point games on her resume this season, including a 25-point explosion against Woodstown where she sank a season-best seven 3's, Angie let her offense do the talking. Her laser-focused guard play in the post-season helped Wildwood win a South Jersey, Group 1 sectional title earlier this month.

These Class of 2026 standouts really made a name for themselves in the Garden State this season and emerged as ones to watch moving forward, especially transitioning over to AAU. Their excellent play from regular season to post-season saw both their stats and stocks soar to new heights!
