Maya took her game to another level and made contributions in every area on the court. Richards has always had a knack for playing solid defense with her quickness, speed, and determination. This past season, Richards was a consistent scorer, getting most of her points in transsition and by attacking the rim out of the motion offense. Richards also rebounded very well last season and was often battling players a lot taller. Richard's hustle was a spark for her team. Her high IQ and versatile game were on display night in and night out, and they were a huge reason for her upward movement in the rankings.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["731548"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='731548' first='Janiyah' last='McKnight'], who was voted player of the year for the second consecutive year, is a player whose stock was destined to go up. This past season, McKnight was an offensive scoring machine. She scored in multiple ways: in transition, attacking the basket, shooting from the perimeter, and getting to the free-throw line. Throughout her career, she has had a knack for scoring. McKnight averaged over 24.1 points per game this past season and she will finish her high school career averaging 19.5 points per game.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["426239"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":636254,"_player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='426239' first='London' last='Jenkins'] played well throughout this high school season and this year she was productive on offense, on defense, and especially in the transition game. Jenkins is one of the best open court players in the 2024 class. She is crafty with the dribble and equally crafty with the finishes. Jenkins game is predicated on athleticism and speed and she has plenty of it.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["808696"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='808696' first='Lesly' last='Gonzalez'] played well this year. She distributed the ball to her post and wing players, but still was an aggressive shooter and scorer from the point position.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["818595"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='818595' first='Jasmin' last='Valcin'] played well this year and really flourished as a combo guard.
