Courtney is a well-rounded point guard with electrifying energy. She has impressive range and does a nice job moving without the ball to get opportunities to catch and shoot. Equally as important to her game is the ability to create off the dribble. She’s got an explosive step to the basket and is a great finisher around the rim for her size. Her vision and ball-handling skills round out a really solid point guard game which makes her a true floor general. She plays the game the right way with a lot of passion, energy, and love for her team. She would be a great addition to a program at the next level!
Allie is a smooth, left-handed guard who can fill it up in a hurry on the offensive end. Her team fell short in the SODAK 16 this season but she was a huge reason why they got that far. Her offensive game features a quick three-point release with range nearly to half-court. This kid isn’t afraid of the big shot and wants the ball in her hands when her team needs it most. Playing for North Dakota Attack and her high school team has built a wealth of knowledge for her as she shows off a really high basketball IQ. She’s effective in both transition and the half-court with great vision to find open teammates as well as really effective footwork to get to her spots to score. She holds the school record for assists in a game with 13!Loads of talent here for the Lemmon Cowgirl!
Hamtyn is a dynamic guard from Huron that led a great career for the Tigers. On the offensive end she has a consistent stroke from beyond the arc with a high set point and a lot of confidence. She does a nice job moving in space to get open for shot opportunities. She is strong with the basketball as well and does a nice job staying ball secure on drives to get to the rack and finish. Defensively she moves well and demonstrates a solid understanding of the game and a willingness to block out and rebound from the perimeter.
Megan is a talented athlete for the TDA Nighthawks. She has a rare ability to create off the dribble and rise up in the mid-range and hit jumpers. At 5’11” with an impressive vertical she can get her shot off at about any time she wants. Her offensive game is complete with the ability to hit the three, finish off the attack, and create in the mid-range. On defense her length is disruptive and she does a great job of anticipating to steal passes and generate points off of turnovers.
Harding County Rancher Jaelyn Wendt Jaelyn Wendt 6’1″ | C Harding County | 2024 State SD is one of the truest post players in South Dakota. She is 6’2″ and features an impressive “back-to-the-basket” game and handles it well enough to score off the dribble as well. She has a high IQ and uses her footwork effectively to get to her spots to score in the paint. In addition to her presence in the paint she is a ball secure post that has great vision above the defense and brings value as a passer to a motion offense as well. On the defensive side she is an elite rebounder who doesn’t mind physicality and can alter a lot of shots with her insticts and length.
Dani is a talented guard/forward for the Lennox Orioles and was a big part of her team’s success this year. She can knock down outside shots, has a really nice mid-range jumper, and features a nice blend of strength and speed. Off the dribble and offensive rebound she does a really nice job of playing through contact and gets herself to the FT line efficiently. She is a strong finisher in the paint and can stretch defenses with her outside shooting ability as well. An active defender, she does a really good job of playing in the passing lane tipping basketballs and getting steals as well. Her transition game is solid as well and she does a nice job leading or running on the break to score in transtion.
Elly is a force to be reckoned with in the paint. She has a great blend of quickness and strength that she uses to her advantage on both ends of the floor. Offensively she has a post-up game that with the right matchup allows her to dominate the block. She’s a tough guard in the paint as she has patient footwork, a physical mentality, and a high basketball IQ. Her shooting range extends out to a nice mid-range shot and she is an excellent rebounder.
