We're going to be going through, conference-by-conference, league-by-league, to find the best players and honor the best players across New Jersey. This article will focus on the Union County Conference, one filled with talent and top programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='488640' first='Zoe' last='Boston'] - Roselle (2024)

Boston had a fantastic season for Roselle, joining the 1000 point club as a senior while showcasing her talent as one of the top forwards in the senior class in New Jersey. She finished the year averaging 25 points per game and 11.5 RPG, averaging a double-double for the season along with a career-high 3.2 blocks per game. It was her second-straight season with a double-double average as she posted 16 of them this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='325196' first='Grace' last='Kinum'] - New Providence (2024)

Consistency. Consistency. Consistency. [player_tooltip player_id='325196' first='Grace' last='Kinum'], simply put, has been consistently good and consistently dominant for New Providence. She finished her senior season on a high, averaging 13.4 PPG, 6.3 RPG and 6.0 APG, far-and-away a career-high in assists per game for her while crossing the 400 point plateau for the first time in a season...as well as the 1000 point plateau for her career.

[player_tooltip player_id='414349' first='Bella' last='Curanovic'] - Cranford (2025)

Yes, Cranford is going to be losing quite the senior class after a stellar 19-8 season, but yes, Cranford is also getting its best player back for her senior season next year. [player_tooltip player_id='414349' first='Bella' last='Curanovic'] dazzled on both sides of the floor for the Cougars, most notably averaging a robust 15.3 PPG this season with nine 20-point games to her name. She averaged career-highs in both rebounding and assists as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='414346' first='Brenna' last='Slattery'] - New Providence (2025)

Slattery saw what her teammate was doing and decided that she wanted to join in on the fun. What fun it was for the junior, the now-expected leader of New Providence going into next season. She actually led the Pioneers in scoring at 13.6 PPG over 30 games, scoring more points as a junior than in her first two high school seasons combined. What a blossoming of talent, a great talent at that, in the frontcourt for NP.

[player_tooltip player_id='488638' first='Ma'Ziyah' last='Richards'] - Plainfield (2024)

The emergence of Richards for Plainfield was like she shot out of a cannon this season. Career-highs across the board and a newfound confidence that trickled into just about everything she did. Not only were the Cardinals one of the best teams in the UCC, but they found a gem in someone who averaged 20 points a game, along with 6.3 RPG and 3.2 APG. Just spectacular stuff from her.

[player_tooltip player_id='414347' first='Jasmin' last='McKay'] - Roselle Catholic (2025)

Make it three-straight seasons for [player_tooltip player_id='414347' first='Jasmin' last='McKay'] scoring at least 400 points, and this season put her over the 1000 point plateau comfortably. It's impressive to watch just how dominant she's been and how well she's been able to sustain that dominance for Roselle Catholic, averaging 17.5 points per game, a shade above her career high. Over 74 career games, the junior has averaged 17.1 PPG, truly a sight to see.

[player_tooltip player_id='587876' first='Alexandra' last='Koon'] - Elizabeth (2024)

If there was anyone to point out from Elizabeth this season, Koon took the cake with a truly dominant season on the post unlike any the program has seen in recent memory. Out of nowhere, the senior averaged 13.9 PPG and 11.1 RPG in 29 games, adding in 2.2 BPG and 1.4 APG to showcase her strengthened defensive skillset. Her defense was definitely on full display, but just as much was her offensive game in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='325204' first='Amanda' last='Baylock'] - Scotch Plains-Fanwood (2024)

Baylock had to find a way to end this chapter of her high school career with a bang, and we think she did just that. The senior dazzled on the floor, crossing the 1,500 point mark and 150 career three-pointer mark as she averaged 18.4 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 2.9 APG, 3.2 SPG and 2.3 made three-pointers a game. Some of those might have been under her career averages, but she was the unquestioned leader for SPF from start-to-finish.

[player_tooltip player_id='878971' first='Gabrielle' last='Ziegenbalg'] - Union Catholic (2025)

The 2023-24 season seemed like the year of the breakout for quite a few players in the UCC. Union Catholic junior shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='878971' first='Gabrielle' last='Ziegenbalg'] was certainly one of them, knocking down a career-high 82 threes as she averaged 16.5 PPG over 25 games. She was an unstoppable three-point machine, hitting nearly 3.3 a game, and she now has her sights set on joining the 1000 point club.

We're going to be going through, conference-by-conference, league-by-league, to find the best players and honor the best players across New Jersey. This article will focus on the Union County Conference, one filled with talent and top programs.
