Here are the results of the All-City Teams for Each Division, most of these kids were impact players for their team and that is why they deserve the ink. Take your time to learn about these kids and then try and get out to watch them play LIVE. Follow them on their social media and get involved with the game of girls basketball. Use Code: SMALL30 to get 30% Off the yearly price. MORE to Come...

[player_tooltip player_id='104798' first='Serenity' last='Johnson'] - Westchester HS

Serenity has been seen by us on many occassions and her game never is improving each and every time we see her play. She is quite strong and has solid body that can take hits while going to the basket or shooting a three pointer from the corner. She has a decent handle and is somewhat of a big guard, but we love her pull up midrange shot she has been working on, it is nice and she has a nice stroke on her shot. She even sits down on defense and make her opponent be careful with the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='839810' first='Kinidi' last='Curl'] - Hamilton HS

Kinidi is a talented scoring wing/guard, who has a decent handle and is the lead guard on the team. She is quite calm on the floor and is able to create her own shots when needed. She has a good IQ for the game and is always looking for a play to make, she runs the offense with precision and has great movement when she is not handling the ball. She shoots it from three point line with consistency and can push the tempo in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='570445' first='Laila' last='Bowens'] - El Camino Real Charter HS

Laila is a solid guard who can really shoot the ball and that is what she did for her team every night on the floor, this is why she is getting some recognition as an All-City team member. She can blow by her opponents and make things happen on the floor, she is very tenacious when it comes to attacking the basket. She picks up 94 feet and never lets her opponent rest, she is very aggressive in that manner.

[player_tooltip player_id='763613' first='Jhada' last='Cordon'] - Sun Valley Polytechnic HS

Cordon was able to play both on ball and off ball. She's more of a two guard with good size and handles. She was comfortable with the ball in her hands in the halfcourt and directing plays. Able to shoot the dribble pull-up. She pushes the ball in transition and is able to create her own shot. Consistent three-point range and catch shoot off the catch or with the defense in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='839774' first='Justine' last='Mejia'] - Arleta HS

Mejia is a stretch-four who can play some center in small lineups as well. She spaces the floor with consistent three-point shooting off the catch. She can also play in the paint around the basket and is a capable finisher. She can make moves off the dribble in the halfcourt. Good off ball movement especially on out of bounds plays. Good rebounder who boxes out properly.

[player_tooltip player_id='835340' first='Katie' last='Chiba'] - LACES HS

Chiba was a pass-first player; always looking for her teammates and looking to make the right play/extra pass. Good/crafty ball-handler, keeps her head up and can dribble under defense pressure. Relocates after the initial pass. Consistently got to her spots on the court. Good shooter from three-point range.

[player_tooltip player_id='835375' first='Mia' last='Ceja'] - Sylmar HS

Ceja is a strong point guard who can play a little shooting guard as well. Good court vision with perfect, on target passes to teammates especially in transition. Comfortable with the ball in her hands and being a shot creator for herself as well. She has good footwork offensively. Solid baseline drives and dish to teammates. She's an active on ball defender who keeps a proper stance and slides her feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='839780' first='Odali' last='Rivera']- Bernstein HS

Odali can score th ball, she is fundamental sound and can lull you to sleep with her precision slow motion that is highly effective, I think it throws her opponents off most times. She can handle it and is a willing passer that can also hunt her own shot. Her pull up game is good and she is good to the rim, can finish thru traffic with ease, and also decent three point shooter with a nice release.

[player_tooltip player_id='839778' first='Liliana' last='Word'] - Lakeview Charter HS

Liliana has good size for her position on the floor and she knows how to use it effectively when dominating in the paint. She can score on you over both shoulders in the paint and is a good sealing post that seals your doom once she catches it with soft hands. She is a willing ball handler in transition and is able to make moved off the dribble in the offense.

FULL LIST OF ALL-CITY TEAM SELECTIONS BELOW:

Open Division Team Selections:

Coach of the Year: Victor Koopongsakorn -
