There were 11 collegiate programs in attendance, ranging from NAIA to the Division II level. Several coaches alongside Camp Director, Matt Abney, iterated the same sentiment that this was the most talented group of participants the BTH Showcase has had to date.

Gordon, is a 6’1″ lefty from Alamogordo. The junior was solid in pick’n’roll actions and had no problem playing ‘bully ball’ when operating down low. Teeya has good footwork, strong hands and flashed the ability to create from the high-post/elbow area.
Vazquez is a 5’6″ sharpshooter from Alamogordo that can torch opposing teams from beyond the arc. Abby had no problem rising up immediately after the catch, connecting on multiple three-pointers from various spots on the floor. The senior was comfortable moving without the ball and did not crumble when her shot was contested.
Daisy Fernandez
Daisy Fernandez
Fernandez is a multilevel scorer with good size. The 5’10” junior averaged 12 points per game, displaying solid foot work, and a high IQ. Daisy was lethal in catch & shoot situations in addition to her effective off-ball cuts.
Abigail Ortega
Abigail Ortega
Ortega, is a fundamentally sound guard, that gets good lift on her jumper. The 5’5″ sophomore averaged 12 points per game, thanks to her poise and brilliance off the bounce. Abigail did a fantastic job utilizing head fakes and jab steps to create separation.
Mia Hairston
Mia Hairston
Hairston, is a electric sophomore who averaged 11.3 points per game. The 5’5″ guard is a great rebounder that has the ability to take the ball coast-to-coast. Mia’s body control was superb, especially on the fast break and when opposing defenders were challenging her at the rim.
Hunt was effective as a baseline runner and was tough to keep off the glass. The 5’11” forward averaged 10.7 points per game and was constantly getting putbacks thanks to her effort and ability to rebound in traffic.
Kylie Marquez
Kylie Marquez
Marquez is a 5’7″ guard that likes to slash her way to the basket. The sophomore from El Paso, averaged 11.2 points per game, excelling in DHO actions. Kylie welcomes contact and does a great job of shielding defenders, protecting the ball. Marquez is a capable finisher in traffic who likes to use a floater versus opposing frontcourt players.

Keira Gamboa Keira Gamboa CG Las Cruces | 2026 State NM
Gamboa is an up-and-coming guard who averaged 10 points per game. Keira is quick, and made good decisions when working the pick’n’roll. The 5’5″ sophomore plays with great energy, has a smooth looking pull up jumper, and is a willing passer. Gamboa had an unreal assist during 5x5s, delivering a nifty wrap-around pass along the baseline.
