Jensen had her season taken away prematurely due to a knee injury. However, from the Pewaukee fall league I attended, Jensen was the kid I was most impressed by. The way she made things happen with the ball in her hands while still creating for others was something I underestimated until I saw her in person in that setting. Jensen can score in different ways and creates shots off the dribble in countless ways. I’m unsure what interest she had before her injury, but she may be a steal for someone at the next level. She’s outstanding.
Eva Brooks Eva Brooks 6'0" | PF Lena | 2025 State WI
I said it countless times at the state tournament, but nobody did more than Eva Brooks Eva Brooks 6'0" | PF Lena | 2025 State WI did for Lena. I felt as if she was the breakout player of the weekend, and she’s continued to do the things we all saw her do in Green Bay. A few 6-1 kids can handle the ball, shoot, pass, and play with their back to the basket. There’s a chance that before schools started reaching out recently, she had no idea how good she was. She’s exploded as a prospect these past six weeks, and if she keeps this going, this path could lead her to places she may not have imagined in January.
Before the 2023-24 high school season, nobody knew what to expect from Kettle Moraine. We knew they’d still be competitive, but Gomez emerged as their go-to scorer and nearly led the Lasers back to a Sectional Title game that few would’ve thought possible in November. Gomez probably exceeded any expectations people had of her this season. Defenders couldn’t stay in front of her, and you couldn’t shade her to go right. Gomez is comfortable finishing with her right hand in traffic and probably had most of her and-ones finishing with her right hand. Gomez is a kid some may not have known heading into last season, but NAIA/D2/D3 schools should all make time to see her play once this summer.
Bentley Drout Bentley Drout 5'4" | PG Kimberly | 2025 State WI
Drout recently suffered a severe knee injury, and she’s someone coaches may have looked past previously due to her size, but she’s a serious player. Drout is one of the quickest guards you’ll find, but she also has a ton of force in her game. Talking to other kids she’s played with, they all rave about how elite of an athlete she is with her speed, change of direction, leaping ability, and more. It’s a shame she won’t get to play in her final AAU season, and hopefully, she’ll get a semblance of a senior season still, but I feel she’s a kid who could be a kid who wows college coaches at the next level if given the chance.
