Continue ReadingI may sound like a broken record yet many times what I write isn’t read or is not comprehended but a WATCH LIST is just that, players who I have seen this season, from the 2028 class, who stood out among the many that I saw. Please note it also means WATCH HOW THAT LIST CHANGES as I see more players, hopefully with NON-ERRONEOUS ROSTERS. I’m dropping my first 5, keep in mind the list is in ALPHABETICAL ORDER, yet these players have been playing up and are going to take their games up, Up, and AWAY. Ironically I caught quite a few of the first group right here almost two years ago
Robinson would be rated #1 in Texas right now if this was a ranking yet let me say this, she is a #D1Lock and will be ranked high nationally by every reputable service, been doing this too long, I know the bar has been set so watching her over the years, I knew what was coming. Yeah, she scores off the dribble and drops the mid to long range but she is poised under pressure playing with against legitimate next level players already in high school. Her upside is scary

Seal SEALED it when I caught her playing up a few weeks ago with Team Lex and let me say this, she was always going to be a major attraction for next level coaches to come and watch because “college coaches love big guards that can shoot” and she showed that many years ago. Her release is quicker, she’s also creating and elevating while being defended to drop the mid to long-range but her playing the passing lane and defending on the perimeter have taken turns upward so she’ll keep sealing things and locking them into her intangibles
Highlights
Ramnanan had me drop I was impressed with her the first time I saw her and overly impressed the second time so in the opening paragraph where you click on the link, would overly, overly make sense. Well it does to me as her maturity stood out against the older players and since I rarely look through the roster during the game, when I saw the name I just smiled. She had a growth spurt and I’m talking on and off the court and not only did she score with players literally hanging on her, she created and elevated from outside to drop the jumper. Her court vision was also a big plus
Dallas name has been buzzing around for quite some time yet one more time, I have to see for myself, unlike many involved in this, I have no agenda whatsoever yet watching her “go to work” at the Prime Event JUST DID IT for me. Her explosiveness off the dribble coupled with very nice body control gave me a glimpse of how acrobatic she is on her finishes. She strong and powerful, can post up smaller guards, well bigger ones too and can drop the mid to long-range, Scary upside
Smith is also playing up and you would never know without the help of a roster yet she has been on my radar for quite some time and I think I dropped the #D1Lock the first time I saw her, if it wasn’t the first, it was the second. I love how she wants the ball under pressure yet even more importantly is that she delivers. The jumper is smooth, mid to long-range and with a hand in her face, she drops it effortlessly yet her attacking to score or dish makes her a threat, especially since her court vision in transitions is also good, so is her “on the ball” defense
