MAC Basketball is known as one of the top all-around organizations in Ohio as their top teams will be playing on the Select 40 tour this year which McNamara feels will really help their kids get the best looks at receiving scholarships.
In the 2024 class who will graduate this June, six of them from Mac will go Division 1, two more will head to D2 and three of them are heading to D3 basketball at the next level. He feels that history plays a big part in their continued success, and even with a lot of talented clubs in Ohio, doing it the right way and getting the girls in the right places have been a key for them.

Key Players 2025 Select 40 Team
Joi is a dynamic scorer at 22 point per game in high school this year. She has a quick trigger and an elite scoring mentality, she dominated during the season. She has a frame set for college basketball, it is just a matter now of getting her exposure to be seen. Her film is good, but her live game is much more impressive. She does currently carry a D1 offer.
Highlights
Elaina has great speed and athleticism with a burst of speed on her first step. She can really go to the rim, is an elite defender and is developing her outside shot. For the coaches who have not seen her, the film shows all the tools. She is starting to draw some attention and has D1 potential for the next level.
Lizzy Favret
Lizzy Favret
Lizzy has a great frame that can run the floor like a gazelle and able to play the game at a fast speed. She has a great back to the basket game with multiple moves around the rim. Runs in transition well with good athletic lineage. Can defend and move has feet well, defends well from the 3-5 spots.
Key players 2026 Select 40 Team
She is the epitome playground point guard according to her coach who can score off the bounce and knock down the three with ease. She is a savvy passer with great court vision, and uses both hands well with the ball. Averaged 17 per game in high school, and has plenty of D1 looks, just looks to improve her game over the summer. (feature photo above)
She is a two-time all-Ohio player and very talented with an 18 point per game average. She is a wiery shooter with the ability to play back to the basket with an excellent midrange shot. She is also a multi-sport athlete but it doesn’t stop her from being one of the top 26s in Ohio on the basketball court. One to keep an eye on this summer.
Nina is a stellar point. guard who is a very impressive leader with strong command of the game. She is able to lock you in defensively, and when she has the ball in her hands, Nina can score at the rim. Also can step out behind the arc to score. Her leadership puts her above everyone else. Very smart basketball IQ.
Key players 2027 Select 40 Team
No brainer for the next level, she already has D1 offers with more to come! Right now Sidney would be a mid-major to low Power-5 kid. Can score from anywhere with a beautiful step back 3. Works so hard, she is the epitome of a gym rat. Great teammate, always positive. She can do it all.
Regan is the ultimate grinder and there is nobody more intense on the court than this girl. Her work ethic is unmatched and does a lot to improve her game when nobody is watching. She has range out to 25′, able to attack with either hand. She is a strong floor general amdreally gets the game. Right now a low D1 kid.
Highlights
I spoke to her coach and he feels she has the most upside on this team. Good footwork, athleticism and her great strength with a frame allowing her to get to the rim which has separated her from most others. Can absorb and deliver bump, good perimeter game and understands the game well. A coaches kid who can contribute.
