Kendall Dykstra
Kendall Dykstra
Dykstra is an athletic guard who is also powerful and she shows it attacking the basket off the dribble. She finishes after contact, body control is nice but she also showed good court vision and played solid “on the ball” defense
Ross uses her frame around the basket well, on both ends yet watching relentlessly going AFTA everything off the rim was refreshing. She scored around the basket, putbacks included. She also did a good job on interior defense plus she did what I absolutely love to see from players, she played the passing lane
Russell showed the pull-up jumper in the set as well as the “stop and pop” in transition. Her first step was nice, she attacked with ease off the dribble to score or dish but watching her come out of nowhere and block shots was as also nice, so was the heart she applied on defense
Johnson is “long and athletic” plus way over “the magic number” yet her playing the passing lane and handling afterward, as well as going coast to coast to finish was also magical. Her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots was nice. Her defense both in and outside the paint was solid and she faced the basket to score, elevating with ease over the defender
Highlights
Lamirade Lebon
Lamirade Lebon
Lebon used her size and frame to her advantage as she scored with players literally hanging on her around the basket but watching her go AFTA the ball off the rim, on both ends was equally impressive. She also showed good lateral movement and applied solid defense
Olivia Harness
Olivia Harness
Harness showed she was fearless playing up and her upside is pretty impressive because she understands how to not only create her shot but knock it down while being pressure against older players. Her step back 3 is going to create some problems over the years
Peyton DiGiacomo (Hustle Prep) 2029 is long and athletic, showed the “hands and footwork’ to score but she also hit the boards on both ends and blocked shots, timing is nice
Huni Folau (Hustle Prep) 2028 also created her shot under pressure yet her ability to “catch and shoot” with a hand in her face was nice, especially when she showed it by dropping the 3
