The class of 2026 is filled with talented players at each of their respective positions. In todays game, many teams play 'small ball' with only one true frontcourt player on the floor. With that being said, most of the time the power forward has to play big and operate the '5' spot. Let's take a look and see where each players listed as a PF stacks up in the latest 2026 rankings update:

[player_tooltip player_id='648191' first='Jordyn' last='Dyer'] | La Cueva

Dyer is a versatile two-way player with great length and speed. Jordyn is a Two-Time All-State Selection (Second Team: 2023 & Honorable Mention: 2024) AND Two-Time All-Metro Selection (First Team: 2023, 2024). This past season, Jordyn appeared in 30 games for the Bears, where she averaged an impressive 15.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='648205' first='Kyla' last='Lopez'] | Tucumcari

Kyla is a hardworking forward that establishes good post position by having one or two feet inside the paint. Lopez averaged 13.6 points per game and 6.6 rebounds while totaling 153 FGM, which was the second most amongst the 2026 class. On the flip side, Lopez recorded 3.7 steals per game for a whopping total of 101!

[player_tooltip player_id='893555' first='Elizabeth' last='Needham'] | Alamogordo

Needham is a rising frontcourt player who averaged 9.5 points per game, while shooting 48 percent from the field overall. In addition to her scoring output, Elizabeth averaged 8.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals in 26 games played for the Tigers.

[player_tooltip player_id='648234' first='Ceanna' last='McKines'] | Mayfield

McKines is an interior force who continues to rise in the 2026 rankings. For the 2023-24 season, Ceanna posted 11.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in 28 games played. McKines is a physical lefty that is comfortable operating in the midrange area.

[player_tooltip player_id='828809' first='Kaelynn' last='Ashley'] | Albuquerque High

Ashley is a lanky forward that does the 'dirty work' for the Bulldogs. In 2023-24, Kaelynn put up 9.4 points per game and 7.7 rebounds, with a field goal percentage of 45 percent in 30 appearances.

[player_tooltip player_id='648199' first='Kaydence' last='Riley'] | SFIS

Riley is a tough competitor who affects the game on both ends of the floor. In 20 games played, Kaydence posted 8.6 points and 3.0 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='648214' first='Zoe' last='Mangrum'] | Hope Christian

Mangrum is a rocksteady forward who made 26 appearances for the Huskies this past season. Zoe's stat line in 2023-24 was 7.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='486438' first='Jaslene' last='Big Crow'] | Cleveland

Jaslene is a budding forward with size and solid footwork. Big Crow is comfortable using either hand around the basket and has the ability to create second chance points with her rebounding.

[player_tooltip player_id='648212' first='Mia' last='Bishop'] | Hope Christian

Bishop only played 16 games but did manage to post 8.5 points per game for the Huskies.

[player_tooltip player_id='893564' first='Evah' last='Lopez'] | Los Lunas

Lopez is a high energy player that does the little things to help her team win. Evah is a capable scorer, defender and rebounder who also sets solids screens.

[player_tooltip player_id='648200' first='Alyssa' last='Campos'] | Los Lunas

Campos has the potential to be a reliable option for the Tigers but has been injury plagued her first two seasons. Nevertheless, Alyssa is a competitive forward who can battle inside and provide much needed relief points.

[player_tooltip player_id='792927' first='Kaci' last='McHugh'] | Rio Rancho

Kaci is a big time presence in the interior who has vastly improved her touch around the basket. Listed at 6'2", McHugh does a great job of battling inside and competing on the glass on both ends of the floor. Kaci is a great rim runner who sprints the floor, looking to establish cross-matches and early offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='648225' first='Kara' last='Morgan'] | West Las Vegas

Morgan played in 20 games for the 2023-24 season, averaging 5.0 points per game for the Lady Dons. Off the bench, Kara provides great energy and helps anchor the interior on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='893571' first='Ava' last='Brown'] | Deming

Brown is a rotational player for the Deming Wildcats that could have a bigger role moving forward. With a roster consisting of mostly upperclassman, Brown only played about 9 MPG, but managed to put up 2.8 points a contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='828816' first='Sarah' last='Garcia'] | Albuquerque High

Garcia is a slender forward that can score from inside 15 feet and create 2nd chance opportunities. In 21 games played, Sarah posted 1.1 points per game for the Bulldogs.

[player_tooltip player_id='828822' first='Suley' last='Moreno'] | Estancia

For the 2023-24 season, Moreno totaled 18 points at the varsity level, in 24 games played.

[player_tooltip player_id='893574' first='Danity' last='Gore'] | Silver

In 2023-24, Gore notched career-highs in games played (20), PTS (12) and PPG (0.6). With more reps and court time, Danity can be a rotation piece for the Fighting Colts.

[player_tooltip player_id='828823' first='Rachel' last='Mardo'] | Tucumcari

Mardo made just 15 appearances for the Rattlers this past season but was able to register her first points at the varsity level.

* [player_tooltip player_id='648226' first='Zoey' last='Ping'] did not play in 2023-24 *
