Throughout the day I saw several interesting prospects play their hearts out and leave it all on the hardwood. While this was happening, I was taking some quick notes about what I was seeing, live-in-action. Below I highlight five individuals and briefly describe what I saw out on the floor in their specific contests.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

[player_tooltip player_id='342195' first='Laynee' last='Hogan'] - 2025 - PG - [program_tooltip program_id='712577' first='Iowa' last='Prep'] 2025 Red (IA)

"Hogan has been a game-controller in her team's first contest of the day. She is creating off the dribble for others, finding open teammates once that happens, all while playing hard-nosed defense in the full-court. She gets good looks offensively because of her willingness to pass at any moment. She is also being consistent at attacking her defender on the offensive side, knowing she can finish through contact once she gets by."

Madalynn McLaughlin - 2027 - PG - Air Minnesota 2026 (MN)

"McLaughlin is a 2027 player competing up a grade-level but you'd never be able to tell that by watching her on the floor. She makes great choices in the open court and she works hard off of the ball when the opportunity presents itself. Not to mention that she has an incredible ability to get to the rim and finish in every way imaginable. A prospects with a very high ceiling and a very bright future in the long run if she sticks with it."

[player_tooltip player_id='896236' first='T'Niyah' last='Wilson'] - 2027 - SG - [program_tooltip program_id='712924' first='Team' last='Factory'] 2025 (NE)

"A guard that displays great size, skill, and situational knowledge of the game. Wilson is years above her age on the offensive side of the ball. She is only a prospect out of the 2027 Class and she can score better than most Seniors I watched compete this past winter throughout two/three different states. Has solid size at 6'0 with good muscle mass to pair along with it."

Paitlyn Daedlow - 2027 - PG - [program_tooltip program_id='712577' first='Iowa' last='Prep'] 2026 Red (IA)

"P. Daedlow is a name to remember out of the 2027 Class in Iowa. She is a smaller guard who has quick reflexes, a positive attitude, and she is a willing passer while running the PG position. She really gets after it on the defensive side of the ball with her all out pressure and active hands/feet. If she becomes more aggressive offensively as she gets older, there is a lot to like her as a prospect on the hardwood."

Siri Konkel - 2026 - PG - Air Minnesota 2025 Jech (MN)

"Someone that should be described as a PG but by the way that she can knock down shoots from the outside and midrange, it is making me want to say that she is a SG. She displayed in her first contest that she can make solid passes, hit shots on rotation, and she can play scrappy defense. She communicates well with the others around her and she demonstrated a fundamental shot-form every time she let it go. Also athletically, she is very quick in any of her movements."
