We hope to see Wilson-Smith’s stock continue to rise as she heads into her senior season at Omaha North. She kicked off her circuit work with averages of 11.0 points and just over nine rebounds per contest for ETG, while also dishing out 12 assists over the four game set. Has all the tools in her toolbox and is a matchup nightmare for opposing teams as she can play any position on the floor offensively.

You’ll see Wilson-Smith listed as a SG/PG which is fair. She can handle the ball well and shoot it. But she will also get in the paint and bruise you if decide to put a smaller player on her. She should thrive this summer with ETG and coach Ann Prince. After transferring from Bellevue East to Omaha North, she led the Vikings to the Class A state final by averaging a double-double. In our mind one of the top 10 players in the state regardless of class.

In helping Omaha North to the state championship game, Wilson-Smith proved her playmaking ability and top-five ranking in this class. At 5-11 she can go inside and rebound, but can handle the ball as well and lead a fast break. Averaged a double-double for Omaha North this year with nearly 12 points and 11 rebounds per game. She had double-digit rebounds in each game in Lincoln and her semifinal performance of 11 points and 20 rebounds against Kearney was one of the top outings of the weekend.

Tink Wilson is in an interesting spot within her recruitment. Wilson is getting a lot of love from in-state/Midwest schools but it somewhat stops there. On the hardwood Wilson is a 5’11 CG that is a mismatch for most opposing teams. With her combination of height, skill, and athletic ability – it’s hard for others to game plan against that. Either the defender is usually too big to stick with Wilson down the floor or they are too small and that lets post opportunities arise for the CG. This Winter Smith switched schools. This switch has been alright so far but we will just have to see how things play out moving into 2026 come Playoff time. For now though, Tink holds onto the #2 spot in this Update.

The next eight months is going to be telling for Tink Wilson-Smith. Wilson-Smith competes as a Swiss-army knife. During high school ball, she is her team’s PG, who has to run offense and make things happen when her group’s system might break down. In AAU ball, she received a lot of iso-situations on the block with her advantage of size, skill, and swiftness. She demonstrated that she can bully anyone who is smaller than her by the bucket but she can also square up and hit a jumper whenever she feels necessary. If Tink can put up some more impressive numbers this Winter as her team wins, she should continue to get collegiate looks until she commits.

If we are talking pure offensive skill-set, Tink Wilson-Smith has the deepest “bag” for this Class currently. The way she can create for herself or others off the dribble is impressive but that’s been a known fact for years now. What will decide Wilson-Smith’s future collegiate level will be her production of the ball, how she makes others around her better, and how well she can match-up defensively. If those three factors come together – the sky is the limit. For now, she comes into this Update at #2 with a ton of promise and an extremely high ceiling.

If we are talking about pure ability and talent level, T’Niyah Wilson-Smith T’Niyah Wilson-Smith 5'11" | SG/PG Omaha North | 2027 State NE is in the conversation for the best out of this Class in this state. Wilson-Smith put on a clinic this Winter on the offensive end for her varsity program. She showed off her deep range pull up jumper each night. She got to the rim at a consistent rate with her crafty ability in small spaces on the drive. All while being someone who actively goes for rebounds on both sides of the ball. With all that being said, Wilson-Smtih is going to go as far as her defense lets her. She isn’t terrible defensively but that is definitely what she is going to have to focus on the most on the road this Spring. She will be playing with a very talented group in ETG Midwest Elte 3SSB. If she wants to see the floor and stay on it, she is going to have to demonstrates that she can defend her position just as well as she can play it. If she does that, who knows who might offer her. The options might be endless.

T’Niyah Wilson-Smith T’Niyah Wilson-Smith 5'11" | SG/PG Omaha North | 2027 State NE is a skilled operator with the basketball. She would be defined as a ball dominate player, that can score at all three offensive level at a high rate for her age level. Her shooting ability from any distance has proven to be deadly if you leave her open and then she can just play off of that. Last week Lincoln University stepped up to give Wilson-Smith her first offer. This might be her first but it won’t be her last. I’m sure once she continues to dominate in AAU, she will have several other suitors after her in the recruiting world. Especially with her switching up programs as her old Team Factory AAU team has combined with another already established program, moving into this Spring season.

T’Niyah Wilson-Smith T’Niyah Wilson-Smith 5'11" | SG/PG Omaha North | 2027 State NE . A smooth guard, that can shoot the ball from deep distances at an extremely high rate. Wilson-Smith’s game is deceiving. She might not come off like it in warm ups but this is a walking bucket offensively, while being a risk taker on the defensive side of the floor. There are pros and cons to how Wilson-Smith competes but at the end of the day, you have to respect it. She puts up really good numbers, her skill is obviously there, and she is willing to make the extra pass in some big moments – speaking to her unselfishness at times. All this has led to a respectable start for Wilson up until this point.

T-Niyah Wilson-Smith is not only a knock down shooter from around the outside, she is walking bucket offensively in most aspects. Wilson-Smith is the real deal while trying to score the ball. She has solid size at 5’11, she is pretty quick in her side-to-side movement, and she is a born competitor. Last Winter as Freshman she averaged over 20 PPG if I’m not mistaken and that is going to be just the beginning. If she continues to stack her days and get better in her weaker aspects out on the floor, then she is going to continue to be a killer to know moving forward into the future out of this state.
