Taylor Morris
Taylor Morris
Morris impressed me off the top as she smoothly created her shot from outside and dropped it while being defended. Her “catch and shoot” from deep was also nice, so was her deceptive first step to attack and score. Solid court vision and defense were also pluses
Lee does something that gets my adrenaline going and that’s playing the passing lane. She also did a good job defending on the ball, that also got her some steals and she handled the ball afterward to score or dish. She also did a good job attacking the basket in the set and finished using nice body control
Robinson is a “long and athletic” guard and that too is the base and her energy just trickled over to her teammates as she made her squad go. Her “on the ball” pressure was smothering at times, her first step was really nice as she blew by defenders to score, body control helped her complete it after contact, yet she also dopped the mid to long-range and played the passing lane
Madison McGhie
Madison McGhie
McGhie rhymes with many words yet watching her drop the 3 fits. She came off a screen and let it go, she set the defender up and elevated to drop it in the set yet she also showed she could “catch and shoot” it with a hand in her face. Nice upside, solid court vision and she scored off the dribble
Butcher made my Top Performer article a little over a year ago at the Dynasty Region Kickoff and I mentioned her court vision as well as her falling into that #sizedontmatter category and since I had seen her only once, over a year ago, she fits into the article because I love progression. Watching her understanding the fame “starts at the 1” Her seeing the floor has gotten better, she’s stronger and threading the needle in traffic as well as hitting teammates from 20 + feet but she’s also heady and stays under control, very nice upside

Hadlee Brown
Hadlee Brown
Brown was another player that not only created her shot but did it under pressure. She also plays within herself, shot selection was nice and she did a good job of getting hers “in the flow”. Nice mid to long-range jumper, scored off the dribble from multiple spots yet adding the “catch and shoot” helped brighten my morning
