Phee Elite Classic 2027 Shooting Guards/Wings

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of Class of 2027 shooting guards/wings who caught our eye at the recent Phee Elite Classic, which was held at The Principia School in St. Louis. Several of these players also put in some good work at The Clash in Cincinnati over the weekend.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/04/IMG_1810.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-897195" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='777630' first='Rayla' last='Blanchard'] (Phee Elite 15U Nordmann): A talented guard from Fort Zumwalt North who was very impressive in the game that I watched her on the first day. She is an excellent 3-point shooter who can knock down jumpers from anywhere on the floor. She can move without the ball to hit the triple off the catch and she also hits them in transition. She can also hit them off the bounce.   ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/04/IMG_1672.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-897199" /></figure>   Maryann Kenyon (Phee Elite 15U Brumley): A 5'11" wing player from Marquette who is a matchup problem for defenses with her height and skill set on the perimeter. She is comfortable with the ball in her hands as a ball handler and playmaker while also being able to score. She can also impact the game as a rebounder and a shot blocker with her length.   ********   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/04/IMG_1469.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-897202" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='777634' first='Sway' last='Jones'] (Brad Beal Elite 15U): A 5'9" guard from Battle who has good size and a smooth shooting stroke from long distance. She pushes the ball at every opportunity and she's tough when she gets into the lane.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/04/IMG_1523.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-897255" /></figure>   Savannah Schieber (Phee Elite 15U Columbia): A 5'4 guard from Father Tolton who shot the ball very well in the game that I watched her. She made four 3-pointers in the game that I watched. She also has good quickness and competes well on the defensive end.   ******     <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/04/IMG_1531.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-897242" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1117244' first='Abby' last='Walsh'] (Phee Eite 15U Aqua): A very solid guard from Ursuline Academy who can shoot the ball while playing a strong all-around floor game. She is a good secondary ball handler who can pass the ball and make good decisions on the move. She can also be a ball hawk on the defensive end.   *******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/04/IMG_1562.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-897217" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='777628' first='Peyton' last='Roberts'] (Phee Elite 15U Oldani): A 5'9" guard from St. Dominic who has good athleticism and who plays with a strong motor. She is very good when she is slashing to the basket on the drive. She is a very good finisher in the lane.   ******   [player_tooltip player_id='777618' first='Hadley' last='Nordmann'] (Phee Elite 15U Nordmann): A very talented perimeter shooter who can really get it going from long distance when she gets on a roll. She has range that extends well past the 3-point line and she shoots it with confidence.   ******   [player_tooltip player_id='848998' first='Addy' last='Cooley'] (Phee Elite 15U Brumley): A 5'7" guard from Lutheran St. Charles who can fill it up from downtown. She reads defenses well and moves to the open spots, even in transition to hit the triple. She can also attack the basket on a fearless drive to get a bucket through contact.   *******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/04/IMG_1561.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-897222" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='777626' first='Mikayla' last='Gavlick'] (Phee Elite 15U Oldani): An impressive 5'6" guard from Francis Howell who can get a bucket in a variety of ways. She can put the ball on the floor with a quick first stop to score on a runner or a short pull up jumper. She moves well without the the basketball and she can also shoot the 3-pointer off the catch.   *******   [player_tooltip player_id='777635' first='Taylor' last='Scheer'] (Phee Elite Brumley): A 5'9 guard from St Francis Borgia who plays a solid all around game. She plays well within the flow of the offense with her movement and high basketball IQ. She will also hit the open shot from the perimeter.   *******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2024/04/IMG_1534.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-897241" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='777619' first='Julia' last='Long'] (Phee Elite 15U Aqua): A 5'8" guard from Kirkwood who has a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range and a quick release to go along with it. She also has the height to maneuver into the lane to get a bucket or chase down an offensive rebound.
