Yes, I know the PORTAL has a lot to do with it as well as the abundance of new EXPERTS posting and talking about how good this or that player is yet those same experts many listened to are part of the reason there will be over a thousand players in the PORTAL annually
All I do is give honest evaluations and I base my views and thoughts on what I see, not what someone else says s here are a few that haven’t signed yet but are solid next-level players
Landers is a “long and athletic” guard which is also the base and she made Top Performer on Saturday with her energy and being feisty on defense because her “on the ball” pressure helped to cause turnovers which led to baskets. That effort helped to change the momentum of the game and gave her team a boost for a ferocious comeback however she also scored off the dribble in each game I caught her and her defense remained solid throughout the event

Lathers was another “long and athletic” guard that changed helped change the momentum of games numerous times. Her first step enabled her to get by the defender to score, nice body control came in handy and it helped her finish after contact yet I was just as impressed with her court vision, both off the dribble as well as in the set. She showed the midrange jumper a few times but watching her UPS and elevating over taller players to score around the basket as well as rebound on both ends was nice, so was her defense and playing the passing lane
Ben is one of the top UNSIGNED players in TEXAS, I stand by that because I’m right and refuse to fabricate about players and their ability. She falls into that “never takes a play off” category and I’m talking both ends of the court as her defense was smothering and helped to create turnovers. Her pull-up jumper from mid to long-range was clicking, so was her attacking the basket powerfully and finishing strongly after contact yet her court vision was on full effect as she threaded the needle in traffic several times to give her teammates solid looks
Carmouche set it off both days as she falls into that “long and athletic” category as she has quite a few intangibles to go along with that starting with her timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots. She also handles the ball after the block, as well as after playing the passing lane yet she rebounds on both ends and can go coast to coast and finish, but she also scores around the basket, putbacks included and scores off the dribble, after the lick. Her midrange looked good, so did her “on the ball” pressure baseline to baseline

Landon is keeping it going as she too was a “long and athletic” guard that scored both off the dribble as well as from outside but her creativity helped with both. She uses a deceptive first step to get by the defender, nice body control on her finishes yet her midrange was clicking as she set the defender up nicely to get her shot off. Court vision was solid and she played the passing lane
Harris is heady, plays within herself, meaning she doesn’t doing anything out of the ordinary and she understands how to get hers in the flow. I loved her shot selection, she patiently waits for the right opportunity and understands how to get the defender off balance to attack as well as to create separation and get her shot off. The mid to long-range has always caught my eye with another team a couple of years ago, as well as her “catch and shoot” with a hand in her face
