When I sat down to watch Hannah Webber Hannah Webber 6’3″ | C Buffalo Grove | 2026 State IL compete, she jumped out right away because of her natural size at 6’2-6’3. Webber is someone that is going to grow into a really nice prospect over these next couple of seasons. She is still raw in a lot of her abilities on the floor but she shows a ton of promise. She rebounds hard, is good with her back to the basket when she has some time, and she has promising touch on the ball whenever she catches it. For her Full Package 2026 3SSB team, she is really their force in the middle of the paint. She can spread out to the midrange for a look or two but right now she should continue to work on being a dominant Post more than anything else. If she can work on using her size to her advantage next to the rim, she is going to be someone that is highlighted throughout Illinois over this next year or two.
Grace Lee Grace Lee 6’2″ | PF Depaul College Prep | 2026 State IL of All in Athletics 2026 3SSB may be the best actual Post player that I saw at this 16U level this weekend. Lee displays everything you would want as coach. She has size, muscle mass to go along with that size, coordination, soft touch, a physical demeanor, balance while attacking, and a number of different counter moves that she can pull out of her bag in any given situation offensively. When it comes to defense, she is good at knowing when she should wall up against an opponent, compared to trying to take the ball away from them. Not to mention, that she is pretty good at coming from the help-side if one of her teammates gets beat off of the dribble on the perimeter. She showed me a lot of promise this weekend and she can definitely build on that moving forward.

I briefly highlighted Sanaii Mcpherson Sanaii Mcpherson 5’8″ | PF Larkin | 2026 IL the other night because of her production but that small paragraph does not due her game justice. Within a program like GPA, they have a ton of young prospects that can really hoop but their life force in the middle, that keeps them afloat at times is Mcpherson. She stands at 6’0, she looks to play physical basketball with her back to the basket, and she loves to wear her emotions on her sleeve. Whenever she has as strong take or an AND1 opportunity, she is going to let the defender who is guarding her know about it and that is something I love. She walks the walk and then talks the talk to follow it up, while always keeping things in check. Another important note about her game is that it’s versatile. She can score down low, bumping around with taller defenders or she can pull things out and attack from some distance away from the rim. Either way, she seemed too much to handle this weekend for almost every defender that stepped up to guard her and that speaks volumes to who she is as a prospect.
Highlights
Hanna Bultman of Wisconsin Playground Elite 2026 is one of the only Post players that I saw competing this weekend, in which her team’s offense revolved around her for the most part. This is a team that has a handful of young prospects playing up who are really talented but they seem to all be guards so Bultman is tasked with doing her thing, showing out from 12FT and in. They like to run 4 out, 1 in around her every chance they get. So much so that opposing teams this weekend were sending doubles from the backside to get the ball out of her hands because if not, it was an easy bucket at the rim for herself in 1v1 situations. This program is a well known one out of Wisconsin and that’s not going to change anytime soon. Once this team has some time to mesh together a little better, they are going to be TOUGH. They have all the pieces to be successful, now it’s just all about creating that connection.
Carriann Williams
Carriann Williams
One of the most raw, yet promising talents that I had a chance to see at the Center position these past few days was Carriann Williams of Kentuckiana Hoops 2026 – Ewing. Williams jumps out to anyone watching because of her long arms and natural height at around 6’1-6’2. She is still very young in her career on the court and you can tell that she is still working to figure some things out, which is okay! As a prospect she has a solid base, who does a good job of getting a ton of tips/deflections on defense, while being decent on the offensive end. This is one of those situations where things go could either way. She may not ever really piece it together without the correct guidance but if she does, she is going to be a dominant big throughout Kentucky over these next few years. She seems confident in her ability and doesn’t shy away from contact or confrontation so I have all the faith that she is going to find balance and really take off as a recruit. This won’t be the only time I’ll be around to see this team compete as they have some ballers so I’m excited to see what the future will hold down the line.
