We've already gotten a chance to talk about the CT Starters earlier this month and this article only expands on that. From the 2025 Williams roster, we head over to the 2026 Busillo roster, mainly Class of 2026 prospects and a Class of 2027 prospect mixed in.

[player_tooltip player_id='491812' first='Kelsey' last='LaMay'] - Rocky Hill (2026)

Lamay was an up-and-down scorer last season for Rocky Hill as a sophomore, still learning and growing with the game. That's not to say what she accomplished on the floor was bad. Very much the opposite, a capable scorer that can turn it up when she's got the hot hand, but gets teammates involved and spreads the floor. Aggressive rebounder for a guard and someone who really has a high ceiling.

Gabby Busillo - Sheehan (2026)

Two-sport athlete, something that's helped out tremendously with agility and overall mobility on the court. Busillo is a player that just needs to get some more game time and experience on the floor, a big reason why the spring and summer is so important with AAU ball. The raw talent is there of a guard ready to lead at the point and make her presence felt on both sides of the ball. She just needs to keep playing, keep balling out.

Mia Tartaglia - Joel Barlow (2026)

Point guard that played the point for Joel Barlow last season and had a tremendous amount of success in that role. Really impressive young leader that absorbs information well and applies it almost immediately on the floor. One of the better facilitators on this team and among non-seniors in Connecticut. Aggressive defender that's proven herself to be a major factor in causing turnovers and creating fast break opportunities.

Erin Martin - South Windsor (2026)

Martin is a turnover machine on defense, a top-level defender both in on-ball and off-ball situations. That comes from great court awareness and great overall game vision, knowing where the ball is going and when to make her move to pick off a pass or at least deflect it, causing the defense to have to regroup or run back to defend a fast-break.

[player_tooltip player_id='1091231' first='Sidney' last='Anderson'] - Marianapolis Prep (2027)

Anderson is the lone Class of 2027 player on this roster and at the same time, she's the tallest player on this roster. There's a lot to like about her game as someone who can play inside and out, able to dominate in the paint and from the perimeter. With such great versatility, she's evolved her play style into a stretch forward, someone who could play the 3, 4 or 5 on the floor.

Stella Andresen - Branford (2026)

Andresen is a taller guard that's shown she can shoot with the best of them. Good mobility on the floor, combined with off-ball movement that frees her up for better shot selection. Able to shoot from just about anywhere she gets the ball, and she'll create shots as much as catch-and-shoot situations. Strong defender as well, able to track and stay with opponents as they drive through.

Alyssa Diehl - Bolton (2026)

Diehl has a silent confidence about her that really radiates in everything she does on the floor. What we've seen out of her is someone who's destined to break out and someone who already has shown that breakout potential overall. Impressive scorer and a capable three-point shooter at that. The biggest thing with her right now is consistency in her scoring and higher shooting percentages.

Emily Yurcisin - Brookfield (2026)

Taller guard that can be used as a forward on teams that have a lack of forward depth. Top-level scorer that can score at every level/facet of the game. Fearless playing style that has trickled over into other parts of her game overall. Plays with confidence and plays with swagger. Isn't afraid to take on just about anyone on the floor, a testament to her overall talent level. We're excited to see where her success goes from this point.

Audrey Greco - Glastonbury (2026)

Listed as a player that can play both at the 2 and the 3, Greco embodies what it means to be a versatile player with intangibles. We know just how well she can shoot the ball and how often she'll find opportunities to shoot the three. She's an unsung leader as a sophomore and leads by example, letting her play on the court do the talking. The only way for Greco is up, and we'll be tracking that progress for sure.

Abi Weidman - Mercy (2026)

Weidman is a true forward, a true center, though slightly undersized at 5-10. That height has played a factor at times when facing taller forwards on the post, but otherwise, she's played with the best and held her own easily. Post play offensively and defensively is the key, having that soft touch around the rim but that aggression to get a rebound and dominate the glass. With more experience will come continued success in those areas.
