Versatile player for her 5’11 strong frame. She will bang in the paint and can dominate the boards, but she spends a fair amount of time making plays on the perimeter. What first caught me was her ability to get down and guard wings on the perimeter. She’s not a post that guards will just blow by when given the mismatch. She’s just as tough a player on the offensive end. Mauck
Ellington Heis
Ellington Heis
Heis is a long and lengthy primary ballhandler for her team. She is honestly like a magnet to the ball as she has the gift of somehow getting her hands on the ball. In loose ball situations, I often times saw Heis come away with the ball. When crashing the boards, she uses her long limbs to scrap for the ball. Again, being a primary ballhandler for her team, when she gets the rebound she is good with going down the other way leading the team in transition. She’s great with penetrating to get to the basket, and once again uses her length to draw contact and get to the line. Once she develops a consistent shot from long range, she will be lethal because she is already a problem as a slasher.
Hustle player! Combined with a lot of athleticism, Duncan is a sight to see in transition. The way she gets steals and pushes the ball out in front in less than 4 dribbles is a problem for opposing teams to catch up to! She moves well without the ball, and will wear her opponent out!
Olivia Neeley
Olivia Neeley
Neeley is a tremendously agile player at her stocky size. She simply outmuscles opponents with or without the ball. She uses her quick feet to beat opponents to the spot then lock them down. She caused several turnovers, and was able to obtain possession in loose ball situations by diving on the floor or getting a hold of the ball before the referee’s blow the whistle. She is a wall and a force for her team.
Andrea Gonzalez
Andrea Gonzalez
Gonzalez has a beautiful long range shot. She has a soft touch but gets off the ground on her shot and has excellent form. Her game favors the European style as she boasts footwork that her peers are not familiar with. She will sell a nice ball fake in the lane, then pivot around her man and shoot a floater off of one. Gonzalez also did a nice job getting her teammates involved.
