She has scored in double digits 9 out of 10 contests she has played in on the PGH circuit this spring, and kept that hot streak going this past weekend. She registered a personal best of 23 points on Sunday leading her team to a 70-46 victory over the [program_tooltip program_id='713206' first='North' last='Houston Hustle'] 2025 National Team. Dakota is extremely athletic and active which allows her to rebound on both ends of the floor and wreak havoc defensively. Offensively he is ball magnet and makes plays around the rim using her energy and athleticism. Pena ended the weekend with a 23-point performance vs the [program_tooltip program_id='715312' first='Houston' last='Lady Nets'] on Sunday afternoon. Prior to that Pena went for 16 points vs the Louisiana Lady Aces in a three point loss. A lefty, Barras is crafty with the ball and uses shifty euro steps and jab steps to slide by defenders. She does the majority of her damage around the rim and inside the paint area. Sydney also showed the ability to knock down three-point shots when given the opportunity. It will be interesting to see if she can be consistent throughout the rest of the summer. If she steps her intensity up she could be a real problem for opposing teams!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
