Gateway Challenge 2026 Shooting Guards/Wings

She has good strength and a quick first step which makes it difficult for defenders to keep her out of the lane. She is constantly putting pressure on the defense. She was very good in the transition game and she also had a hesi move that would freeze defenders on her way to the basket. She was also fearless when she attacked the basket as she didn't mind taking the contact.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>******</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='853127' first='Taylor' last='Wood'] (Storm 16U): A versatile 5'10" wing from Nixa who is a matchup problem with her height and skill set on the perimeter. She did a good job of attacking downhill on the drive and she could also score in the post on a variety of moves inside. She is also a capable shooter from 3-point range. When she got time and space, she displayed a very good shooting stroke from distance. She was very effective on her team's full court press on the second line with her anticipation and active hands. She was also good at playing the passing lanes in the half court. She was also good at attacking the close out and hitting the one dribble pull up from the middle area.
