Maria Golfo Maria Golfo 5'8" | CG Lafayette | 2027 MO (Gumbo Flats 15U): It was my first time watching this 5’8″ point guard from Lafayette and I was very impressed with her savvy and all-around floor game. The young lefty has a high basketball IQ and excellent passing skills. She is always looking up surveying the floor in search of open teammates. She finishes well on the drive with either hand. She is also a very good rebounder who was getting buckets on putbacks.
*******
Lily Adams (TC Hoops 16U): A 5’3 point guard from Arcadia Valley who was a pest on the defensive end with her quickness and tenacity. She moves her feet well to keep ball handlers in front on her and she was also active with her hands. She handles the ball well and she is very effective moving without the ball.
********
Lola Hubbard (Elevate Basketball Academy): A 5’2″ point guard from Hillsboro who showcased some elite passing ability in the game that I watched her. She was dropping dimes with both hands and threaded the needle through traffic numerous times. She is a quick floor general who can also change speeds and directions to keep defenders off balance.
******
Brooklyn Johnson (Unstoppable 15U): A 5’3 point guard who is a solid playmaker who knows how to run a team. She knows how to get into the gaps of the defense with her dribble penetration and find open teammates.
