Sydney Bode Sydney Bode 6'3" | PF Marquette | 2025 State MO (St. Louis Gators): A 6’2″ 2025 forward from Marquette who showcased a versatile skill set. She has a nice shooting touch inside and she can also step out to the perimeter to shoot it. She is a capable ball handler who can passes well against pressure defense and in the half court set. She also used her length to block and alter shots inside. Her overall fundamentals are very good.

Jayce Green Jayce Green 5'10" | SF University City | 2027 State MO ( Lady Brad Beal Elite 15U): A 5’10” wing 2027 from University City who is very comfortable as a ball handler and facilitator. She can change her pace very well to keep defenders off balance and she can get into the lane to hit the short jumper off the dribble. She also knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the game that I watched her.
******
Samantha Schmuke (S.I. Hawks 17U Black): A 5’10” 2025 point guard from Columbia (IL) who was impressive as an athlete and a playmaker. Her motor was strong and on full display at both ends in the first game that I watched. She was disruptive on defense and she was flying in from the perimeter to crash the offensive boards. She was pushing the ball at full speed, yet she could stop on the dime to hit the pull up jumper.
******
Bridget Fitzgerald ( Knights Basketball Academy 14U): A 6’0″ 2028 wing player who is one of the very talented up and coming young players in the state. She is a very skilled perimeter player who handles the ball as a facilitator. She is also a three-level scorer who can create off the dribble. She had one sequence where she blocked a shot to start the break, then finished the it with a transition 3pointer.
******
Tara Davis (TC Hoops 15U): In the opening game of the day, I was impressed with this 5’5″ 2027 point guard from Doniphan. She is part of the Donettes very talented freshman class this season. She directs traffic well and keeps her team organized. She has excellent court vision, which led to some pinpoint passes. She was hitting the open 3-pointer and scoring in transition. She was very active on defense as she constantly moved her feet and kept things hot on the full court press.
******
Maria Golfo (Gumbo Flats): A versatile 5’8″ 2027 point guard from Lafayette who has a very impressive set of fundamentals. When she had the ball, her head was always up and looking for open teammates, and she usually found them. The young lefty plays at her own pace as she can lull defenders, then hit them with a crossover move to score in the paint. She is also an excellent rebounder from the guard position, especially on the offensive glass.
