Ava Miles Ava Miles 6'0" | SG Staley | 2026 State MO ( Della Lamb 17U): The 6’0″ 2026 guard from Staley was the top prospect in the event that I watched over the weekend and she showed why with her ability to impact the game at both ends of the court. She is an excellent playmaker with her passing and ball handling and she can create a bucket off the drive or the pull up jumper. She rebounds the ball well and will start the break herself. She is able to guard multiple positions on defense while being disruptive with her motor. She has continued to rack up Division I offers this spring with Michigan State, Harvard and Cal-Berkeley being the latest this week.

Samantha Colvin Samantha Colvin 6'0" | C Lindbergh | 2025 State MO (Missouri Mavericks 17U): A 6’0″ 2025 forward from Lindbergh who has a nice blend of power and finesse in her game. She used her physical strength to establish her position and move people around in the low post. She also has a nice shooting touch around the basket. She was also scoring on these six to eight foot tear drops in the lane. It was Jokic-like, which was very impressive to watch.

Camirah Foster Camirah Foster 5'6" | PG Hazelwood Central | 2026 State MO (Lade Brad Beal Elite 16U): A 5’6″ 2026 guard from Hazelwood Central who excels at the point with the ball in her hands and she can also play off the ball with her ability to score. She used her quickness and a nice burst to get by defenders to score on layups or short jumpers. Her float game is very effective and she can also knock down the open 3-pointer. She can also play very good end-to-end pressure defense with her ball hawking.
******
Nakia McCottrell (Ball Hogg 14U): A 5’9″ 2028 guard from Edwardsville (IL) who was a real matchup problem with her size and strength and ability to get where she wanted to on the floor. She was getting buckets at all three levels, but she was at her best when she was turning the corner with her left hand and getting downhill to score in the lane. She also used her strength to post up smaller guards in the lane. She also knocked down a pair of 3-pointers off the dribble to complete the offensive package.
******
Kate Deck (TC Hoops 14U): A 5’6″ 2028 guard from Jackson who saw double duty with her own 14U team and with the 17U team as well. She was very impressive playing in both age groups. She has a high basketball IQ and she also plays with a little flair which is entertaining. She is an elite passer who can also create her own shot with the ability to score at all three levels.
******
Lola Hubbard (Elevate Basketball Academy 16U): A 5’2″ 2027 point guard from Hillsboro who was one of the most impressive passers that I saw during the day. This young lady was dropping dimes from multiple angles and with both hands. She knows her teammates are open before they knew they were open. She’s quick and she changes speeds well, but she’s always keeping her head up. She’s a savvy floor general that keeps things calm when she has the ball in her hand.
