Noor al-hassawi– 2027 5’7 SG (Houston Lady Ravens Elite)
Primary ball handler for team. Caught my attention when she jammed up her defender as they attempted to cut through the lane, reached into the passing lane for a steal and used her speed to finish for an easy two on the other end. She used a nice in-and-out dribble to get past her man, make contact while going up and get to the free throw line.
Good job of reading what the defense gave her. Rhea favored using a crossover to go baseline and pull up for a solid short corner jumper. Although she is more inclined to attack the gaps and go to the basket, Rhea is a capable three-point shooter.
Andrea Gonzalez– 2026 5’10 F (Dallas Roadrunners)
Gonzalez uses her solid frame to hold her ground and rebound in the paint. The contact did not bother her, and she kept the ball high on boards. She has a very fluid three-point shot. She gets off the floor and has an excellent follow through. These compliment her height and strong build to make her a threat from beyond the perimeter.
Shot blocker! Did a great job of anticipating and making plays on only the ball without fouling. She likes to shoot the three ball and is definitely capable of hitting. This means her presence on the wing opens up the floor for teammates as the defense cannot leave Heihn open to shoot. I was impressed with ability to understand spacing on 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 transitions. She found open spots and was able to finish midrange shots or finish layups over smaller defenders.
Snatches rebounds over multiple players. She is fierce on the boards and uses her strength to dominate. She showcased her power as she caught the ball in the corner, curled off of a screen to go middle and finish over several defenders. Arinze is a tough, scrappy player.
