The latest group of girls coming to the squad are a crew that can make some real noise in NEPSAC. The new additions are prospects that are well-rounded and fit the team’s needs. These girls seem to be perfect fits for PSA’s culture, they should make a great contribution to the crew.
Rachel Lynch
Rachel Lynch
Rachel Lynch (2025) | 6’2 PF/C | Ireland
Lynch, hailing from Cork, Ireland is a 6’2 powerhouse of a player. Lynch uses brute force and size to snatch rebounds off the board. She has a soft touch for someone with her strength, making her a reliable scoring option. Rachel also likes to space the floor, sporting her dependable 3-point shot. Not only is she an offensive threat, but she is also a defensive menace. Lynch dominates the paint on the defensive end with her stellar blocks she is capable of at any moment.
Excited to see Rachel next year at PSA, a real workhorse that can be a constant asset.
Valentina Vrcan
Valentina Vrcan
Valentina Vrcan (2026) | 5’8 CG | Montenegro
Valentina is an offensive power surge that can score at any moment. An electric scorer that can provide lots to the team. Vrcan’s prowess as a shooter make her a fantastic talent. She can shoot the ball from beyond the 3-point line at any spot on the floor and she takes the right shots given. She’s able to play off the ball and even from the corner 3. Vrcan has a solid floater game to counter defenders that run her off the line. Valentina is a lethal shooter and a spark of offense that will energize the team with her scoring ability.
Bakhaw Seye
Bakhaw Seye
Bakhaw Seye (2026) | 6’5 W-C | Senegal
Bakhaw is a nice addition to the Mustangs for next year. Seye is a long forward who can contribute a bunch of different ways to her team’s success. An agile defender, quick cutter, a bit of transition skills and even some shooting. Seye brings some intangibles to the table that don’t always show up on the stat sheet. Her stature alone will deter some of the best guards from attempting to lay the ball up around her. Bakhaw is a piece that can supply a variety of skills to her team and help them more wins. Providing a bit of everything, Seye’s potential on the floor will leave an imprint on each game she plays.
Antonia De Giorgis
Antonia De Giorgis
Antonia De Giorgis (2026) | 6’0 PF/C | Chile/Santiago
Antonia is true scoring option from the post. A bit of a throwback at her position as a primarily back to the basket player. A slew of post moves at her disposal, De Giorgis creates contact and relies heavily on jump hooks. Antonia has great footwork and can be expected to use counters. Antonia takes her time making her moves and often likes to use the ‘step through’ post move as a counter, catching many defenders off guard. She loves to set screens, dive hard to the basket and make herself available to get the ball in half court sets. De Giorgis is also a good defender that loves to play vertically in post.
Antonia will make a great contribution to the Mustangs next year; she will be an excellent addition to the lineup of bigs they have.
Janaya Prince Janaya Prince 5’1″ | PG Providence Country Day | 2024 State New E (2025) | 5’2 PG| Putnam Science Academy
Janaya is an elite playmaker, despite her smaller stature at the point. She has three level scoring capabilities and a bunch of attributes that come as a combo guard packed into a point guard. Prince scores the ball driving right or left, with the ability to score with each hand effectively. She calls for the screen high uses it as best as any by probing and snaking the screen skillfully. Prince’s ability to create attacking angles from the wings are elite and after putting pressure on the defense, she’s liable to drop off a tough pass to the bigs roaming in the lane. On the defensive end, she is hounding other point guards up and down the court, looking to pluck the ball and get on the break after a steal. Janaya’s spirit is infectious and she fuels her teammates on the floor with her great attitude.
Excited to see the Rhode Island native locally at PSA this year. Prince was one of the best players in the RIIL post season this year.
