While the Roots players have been a huge part of their high school teams success, the Team Wilder guards appear to be next up after the graduation of all-state teammates in the backcourt.
Big time shooter. Elusive first step and gets to the basket with few dribbles. She has craftiness to go with her length and is able to get her shots from anywhere on the floor.. She gets into the lane with spin moves and change of pace. She shoots it off the dribble well from three. The length on the perimeter translates to being effective on both ends of the floor. She is coming off of a 2B State Championship with Napavine in 2024. A season where she averaged 18 points per game. One of the best shooters in the state with a textbook jumper.
Highlights
She was probably the best athlete on the Roots team. She gets to the basket well with speed as a downhill player. A good defensive player capable of getting lots of steals with her anticipation and quickness. Tough player who can play multiple positions and contributes in all phases of the game. She has improved her jumper and added range since I saw her last summer. She is a high-ceiling player with the athleticism-skills.

Good ball-handling guard who doesn’t make a lot of mistakes. Understands the game and plays at a good pace. Nice compact shooting pocket and can knock down threes. She has good speed going to the basket and made some tough shots over bigger defenders using her creativity. She has a quick release from three and has the potential to be an elite shooter.
Danika is a fundamentally sound guard who has had a lot of success as a two time Central 2B all league selection. She has the ability to score in bunches as a threat from three. She has good handles at the point guard position which helps her to score in a variety of ways. Her Adna team is loaded up in the backcourt with Karsyn Freeman Karsyn Freeman 5'8" | SG Adna | 2025 State WA and Gaby Guard also returning next season.

Excellent floor game. True point guard skills with a nice jumper. She shoots threes off the dribble and catch well. Handles pressure well and under control. The type of player I would not want to take off the floor. She plays the game the right way and it stands out when you watch her. Sumner lost all state point guard Lainee Huillion to graduation so Madison will have a bigger role next year. She appears to be ready. She has a whole lot of help as Sumner reloads next season behind 1st team all league players

Alyssa is a dynamo at the point guard position. She plays with a lot of speed and quickness. She had some drives to the basket where she finished with extremely tough shots. What she lacks in height, she made up for in craftiness. A couple of beautiful reverse layups in traffic were enough to catch my eye. She is also a great ball handler, always in control, head up. She won’t get it taken from her much as she has it on a string. She is a pesky defender, causing problems for opposing guards. She is lightning quick to the hoop and has a quick compact release on her jumper. She knocks down threes and will blow by the defense to keep them honest. Watching her, you never worry about her not taking care of the ball. Bellarmine Prep has been loaded at the guard position the last couple of years. Next season should be a breakout one for her. She is definitely a player to keep an eye on.
