First, I want to start with my game of the day: Pro One vs Ohio Legacy in the 10th grade girls division. It ended with a win for Pro One on an overtime buzzer beater! Below are a few of the impactful players from Pro One :
What a performance by Chloe! You never have to question this one’s effort. She is extremely physical and she is going after every loose ball that is in her path. She is doing all of this while still playing with a splint. Yes, she’s quite the athlete! She has a toughness inside her that can’t be taught! Chloe is great at getting downhill and attacking the rim strong. She is also good at finishing through contact! She finished through contact to win the game for her team on a beautiful drive to the rim at the buzzer in overtime! If you don’t have this one on your radar, make sure to put her down ASAP!
Highlights
Hill is an impactful player in all aspects on the court. She rebounds exceptionally well. She has a great understanding of where the ball is going to come off of the rim. She’s fundamentally sound and she will box you out! It was three straight possessions where Ebany hit a beautiful corner 3, then she got on the floor for a loose ball on the defensive end. After that, she pulled up and hit a nice mid-range shot! She played a great overall game to help her team pull out wins today!
During the 1st half, Morris was tough for anyone to stop. She was getting whatever she wanted on the court. Faith was attacking the rim, and finishing strong. One thing that truly stands out to me about Faith is that she will do whatever is needed. We often hear, “do the job that is needed.” Yes, some may do their job, but players like Morris will do any job that needs to be done.
I also tuned in to watch a talented WV Crossover ’29 group tally a win. Heading into Sunday, the WV Crossover group is 3-0. Below is a name to definitely make note of:
Bella Perdue
Bella Perdue
Perdue is a young athlete that looks & plays beyond her years. She has all of the intangibles to be a great athlete. Bella is extremely active on defense and uses her length incredibly well to create steals. Perdue finishes good around the rim and has a knack for finding open spots on the court. She’s definitely a young talent to keep your eyes on!
A few more notable performances listed below:
Brooklyn torched the nets for her team all day! I know if I am on the opposing team, I am not leaving Ellis open! I stopped counting at 5 made threes. She has proven that she can shoot the 3 ball! She’s a versatile athlete and she is a good two-way player! Brooklyn is a player that can truly fill up an entire stat sheet. She also rebounds at a high level too! Keep your eyes on this one. She has a goal to make it to the next level, and I do believe that if she continues to work hard, that goal will happen!
Fox was the athlete that I was completely left impressed by today! Brianna is a ball savvy kid that gets it! She would read what the defense gave her. As soon as the defense thought that they had her stopped, she would show off her impressive skill work to maneuver around them! Fox is a good ball handler. She attacks the rim great and knows exactly when to go up or kick it out to her teammates! She is a high energy kid that defends at a high level! Get eyes on this athlete now!

We always pass around individual accolades. It’s sports and in my opinion, I got this one right. Jordan White Jordan White 5’4″ | PG Northview Academy | 2025 State TN is the MVP for Saturday! The performance that White put on was remarkable. She finished with 13 points & 8 assists against a loaded ETA Thunder Campos team! You want to perform at the highest level against the toughest competition & Jordan did just that! She was weaving in & out to get around defenders. She was able to attack the rim any time that she wanted. She finished strong and through contact, completing numerous 3 point plays. She threaded the needle and dropped dimes left and right. She was outstanding! “Always remember, if you are open, White will find you”
