She was scooped up by Southwest Minnesota State University last year and for good reason! Her ball-handling ability, vision, and high basketball IQ make everyone around her better on offense. Her explosiveness to the rim and physicality on finishes make her a huge threat to score. She attracts a lot of attention from opposing defenses which opens up everyone else around her. She is also probably the top perimeter rebounder both on offense and defense in this class. Logan plays the game with a lot of passion and intensity and opens this list as a top PG for the Class of 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='527479' first='Mya' last='Kochuten'] - Spearfish

Mya is an exciting point guard from Spearfish who has been a staple for her program and helped them achieve a new level of success. She will be proud at the end of her career knowing she left the program in a better place because of her contributions. She's a diverse scorer who has a quick release from three and is capable of knocking down shots if given any space at all. Her shooting ability paired with her ability to create shots make her one of the best offensive players in her class. She consistently makes the right play and understands when to get her own or give it up to a teammate for a better look. Defensively she gets after it as well and is a solid on-ball defender and has the ability to get stops against other talented guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='343332' first='Sloane' last='Keszler'] - St. Thomas More

Sloane has some of the top play-making ability in this class. She has high-level handles and passing ability which allows her to operate an offense and create high-caliber looks for her team. Never afraid of the big moment this kid has ice in her veins and is a guard you can trust with the ball when crucial decisions have to be made. Along with creating offense for her team she can knock down shots as well and keep defenders honest making her a true scoring point guard. She has a nice first step in getting to the rim and does an excellent job finishing at the rim with or without defense. A true competitor she has intensity on the defensive end and does whatever it takes to help her team win games.

[player_tooltip player_id='250045' first='Amanda' last='Lease'] - Brandon Valley

Amanda is an electric play-maker who has a lot of burst to her game. She is great off the drive and has the ability to blow by defenses to get to the rim and finish. Her mentality to get downhill generates offense for the whole squad. She does a nice job finishing in the paint and can score off of drives or post-ups if she has the matchup inside. Distributing the ball to open teammates when the help comes makes her a great offense generator for her team. She is an excellent defender and makes life tough on opposing guards. Constantly in the right place defensively and applying heavy pressure on the ball highlight her 1 on 1 defensive abilities.

[player_tooltip player_id='377639' first='Lennix' last='Dupris'] - Pierre

Lennix is a smart guard who does a lot of things well as a floor general for Pierre. She has all of the traits that a point guard needs to be successful and is accountable for the majority of her squads points whether it comes from hitting shots herself or creating opportunities for her teammates with assists. She has a great toolkit of ball-handling moves and makes it look easy in getting into the paint, handling pressure, and delivering a pass. Keeping the defense on their toes, she can hit the three, drive and finish, or dish it to an open teammate from a variety of angles within the offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='329050' first='Maya' last='Nelson'] - Sioux Falls Christian

Maya is the epitome of basketball IQ and understanding what it takes to play winning basketball. Her intangibles are off the chart and she is one of the best teammates I have witnessed firsthand in our state. Vocal leadership, supporting her teammates, handling adversity in late-game situations, putting her teammates in positions to succeed all highlight her leadership abilities. As a point guard she has all the tools you want, excellent ball-handling ability, makes great decisions, and understands how to read the floor. Pair this ability to better those around her with ability to knock down shots herself and you have a really high-level point guard and a coach's dream.

[player_tooltip player_id='404945' first='Brooklyn' last='Koll'] - Sioux Falls Roosevelt

Brooklyn is a standout for Roosevelt high school who brings a lot of great things to her squad. She's a student of the game and has a really high basketball IQ that stands out on both ends of the floor. Defensively, her positioning and anticipation is excellent and she is a tough-nosed 1 on 1 perimeter defender. She is a willing perimeter rebounder and has no fear about going and getting boards in traffic and making hustle plays. On the offensive end she has a quick step to get to the rim and does a good job of finishing when she gets there. She handles the ball well and makes great reads, understanding her moments to score or pass it off to a teammate, leading to high percentage shots for her team's offense. Another really high-quality PG in this talented list of young women.

[player_tooltip player_id='304516' first='Madala' last='Hanson'] - Dell Rapids St. Mary's

Madala is an electric point guard who is one of the better pure scorers in this group. She has lightning speed and if you give her a half a step she is going vertical and doesn't give defenses a chance to recover. What makes her a tough ask to guard is if you try and keep her in front she can light is up from deep with an inch of space. She has a great scoring toolkit that includes a euro-step finish as well as a great step-back and escape dribble game that help her create space for her jump shot. On defense she plays with great intensity and does a good job putting pressure on her opponent. Coming off of a major injury last season I expect this young lady to have an inspiring senior year due to her work ethic and passion for the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='404939' first='Claire' last='Woods'] - Sioux Falls Washington

Claire flat out understands the game of basketball. She is an excellent vocal leader and a true floor general for her team. A constant source of energy she is a selfless leader who motivates everyone around her to be better. From a skill standpoint she has solid handles, plays with a great sense of calm, and knows how to move the ball and operate a motion offense. She does the little things well in an offense and screens well, spaces well, passes well, and makes the right play consistently. Aggressive takes to the basket and a nice ability to be patient and finish in traffic opens up a lot of offense for her and those around her. Defensively she plays with a lot of pride and does a really nice job containing the ball and contesting shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='613971' first='Charley' last='Nelson'] - Viborg-Hurley

Charley rounds out this list and for good reason. Her team runs a lot of 5-Out Motion and relies heavily on her ability to dribble-drive and get into the paint. She does an excellent job of reading the defense and understanding the depth at which she gets into the paint, and knowing when she should score it herself, or dish it to an open teammate for a high percentage look. She is the epitome of a floor general in the sense that she creates scoring opportunities, makes her entire offense better, and is very vocal in both supporting and instructing her team. She plays the game with a lot of intensity and passion on both ends of the floor.
