Just one reminder before proceeding: The 2025 Prep Girls Hoops rankings are a compilation of the best college prospects among Minnesota's incoming senior class, which projects their potential for success at the next level. This is not a ranking of their current performance as high school seniors-to-be.

#178 [player_tooltip player_id='918776' first='Lily' last='Ryan'] – forward, Mounds View

Ryan played out of position for the Mustangs this winter, a situation born of necessity. That didn't stop her from excelling at forward to the extent that the 5'9 junior earned All-Conference honors in the Class 4A Suburban East. Her success carried over to the spring where she has been an impact player for Bill Hinck's [program_tooltip program_id='712689' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] squad. Lily has grown her game a ton over the past couple of years. She is an impressive shooter from beyond the arc. Her athleticism and length enable Ryan to defend bigger players at a high level. She is also an excellent rebounder with a knack for getting to the right spots at the right time.

#191 [player_tooltip player_id='689429' first='Haddy' last='Baune'] – guard/forward, Brandon-Evansville

Playing for a relatively low-profile program, it can be challenging for prospects to get seen and to make the right impression on scouts and college coaches. The best way to overcome that is to seize the opportunity to play in regional showcase events and to play AAU. Baune has done both. The impression she made at the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo put her on the radar. Her play with [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'] West made it clear she can compete at a higher level. The 5'10 senior-to-be is a strong defender who can guard multiple positions, forces turnovers and blocks shots. On offense she can power to the rim and knock down shots.

#193 [player_tooltip player_id='918772' first='Jocelyn' last='McClary'] – forward, Eagan

Watching McClary early on it was obvious that she is a natural athlete who moves well, has great hand-eye coordination and is likely pretty good at any sport she takes up. That's certainly proven to be the case as the 6'1 senior-to-be has the rare distinction of being a starter in the South Suburban Conference in three different sports. To be honest, though, the lack of focus has impacted her development as a basketball player. She's made great strides this summer with [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'] Elite. If she puts the time in to focus on skill development, becoming a more consistent shooter and gaining more situational experience, there's no telling how good Jocelyn can be. McClary can defend all five positions, which is a great place to start in college basketball.

#194 [player_tooltip player_id='918773' first='Kaelyn' last='Willems'] – guard, Chaska

Willems is a great example of how slow and steady often wins the race. Over time, the 5'10 guard from [program_tooltip program_id='714562' first='FBC' last='North'] S40 has shown steady ongoing improvement. She's not going to light the world on fire, but Kaelyn is going to do a variety of important things that win basketball games. At 5'10 she has more than adequate size and her length is a weapon defensively. She's really good at getting tips and steals and plays with energy and pace. On offense, Kaelyn can score off the bounce and she shoots it with a nice high arc and a soft release. Perhaps Willems' greatest asset is her work ethic and desire to keep getting better. That will serve her well no matter how far she goes in the game of basketball.

#195 [player_tooltip player_id='918774' first='Katelyn' last='Wozniak'] – guard, Blaine

The 5'9 combo guard from [program_tooltip program_id='712689' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] Hinck is an outstanding athlete. In fact, she and her Blaine and AAU teammate [player_tooltip player_id='595557' first='Mara' last='Holle'] were part of Blaine's state championship 4 x 400 meter relay team one year ago. That speed and quickness also serves her well on the basketball court. Katelyn isn't a household name but her performance for the Bengals is certainly worthy of more recognition. She averaged over 11 points per game, with multiple outings in the high teens and low 20s. Wozniak makes an impact at the other end of the floor, as well, and is an excellent defender.

#196 [player_tooltip player_id='782571' first='Taylor' last='Dirkes'] – guard, Osakis

Our final addition to the Prep Girls Hoops Class of 2025 rankings, Dirkes had an outstanding showing at the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo before her high school season was derailed by a season-ending ACL injury. Despite that setback, she still played a big leadership role for the Silverstreaks. Dirkes is a gritty competitor who works hard and has proven her resilience. She can create off the bounce and get to the paint. She is also great in catch-and-shoot situations and can bury it from deep as her previous high school stats will attest. Look for Taylor to have a big senior season.
