Ariana Murphy ( Austin Elite Rock 15U) 2027
Murphy continues to elevate her game in so many ways. I just wrote about her a few weeks ago yet in close games, her poise under pressure is looking pretty good because she’s handling it with ease and still making good decisions
Aliyah Murphy ( Austin Elite Rock 15U) 2027
Murphy also made my Tip Sheet along with her twin sister and just thinking about the growth, both on and off the court, and seeing her go to coast after rebounding to score or dish was nice but she’s seeing the floor better across the board
Areya Roberson ( Austin Elite Rock 15U) 2027
Roberson is an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends and “off the top” She showed she could make things happen applying heat “on the ball” to help create turnovers. She also did a good job handling the ball and seeing the floor while being defended
#14 ( Austin Elite Rock 15U)
Also an athletic guard who brought heat on both ends and her baseline-to-baseline pressure coupled with her quick hands created turnovers but she also forced players into the trap and beat them to the spot to pick up their dribble. She did a good job attacking off the dribble as well
Lindsey Matykiewicz (Premier DBK)
Matykiewicz grabbed my attention immediately by reading the floor and playing the passing lane which led to scoring opportunities however her on-the-ball pressure in the set as well as in transition created some turnovers as well
Ayleen Padilla (Premier DBK)
Padilla is heady and crafty yet her deceptive first step was nice to attack off the dribble and score but her playing within herself and making good decisions was a plus, as was her understanding of how to get hers “in the flow”
Caylee Sandahl (Premier DBK)
Sandahl was another player who grabbed my attention by playing the passing lane which I love to see, hey that’s one of my pet peeves when players don’t do it. She also set the defender up nicely to attack the basket to score or dish, plus her court vision in the set was also nice
Nyessa Dumas (Premier DBK)
Dumas hit the boards on both ends, she also scored around the basket, putbacks included. She got the break going with the outlet, she ran the floor, on both ends and dis a good job defensively
