The Lyncs are always a top 1A team in the entire state every year. Last season they finished the year 20-8, earning the 3rd seed in the state tournament. They started off a little slow to begin the year, dropping 2 of their first 3 but recovered quickly and got back to their winning ways. They defeated Lakeside (9 Mile Falls) in the first round of the tournament before beating Kings to advance to the semi-final round. They faced an incredibly talented Deer Park squad and took the loss by just 1 point.

The Lyncs will be returning everyone but Tabitha DeJong, their only senior last season. [player_tooltip player_id='580777' first='Grace' last='Hintz'] will (hopefully) be back fully healthy next season too, which is a HUGE addition for the team.

Grace is an extremely talented player who takes over games. She can score from all 3 levels on the court and uses a plethora of moves to get herself open for an easy shot. She sets up her teammates nicely too, finding the weaknesses of the defense to get open shots for the team.

Ella has a fantastic season last year for the Lyncs, stepping up big time when Hintz went down with an injury. She held her own, proving to be a number 1 scoring option and a steady leader on the court for the Lyncs. She knocks down shots from deep when the defense leaves her open but can also create her own shots using her dribble moves to get open.

Other players to watch for:

[player_tooltip player_id='1126668' first='Danya' last='Dykstra'] - physical post player who goes after every rebound. Sets good screens and can finish around the rim efficiently.
