When it comes to these Utah girls getting recruited a lot of teams have opted to take their teams to Section 7 and we have some talented teams that will be present. Let's take a look at some of the teams that will be in Arizona in a few weeks.

Lone Peak vs. Clovis West (CA)

Last season Lone Peak started to peak at the right time and they were able to capture another state championship in 6A. With a few early losses The Lady Knights were battle tested. They do lose 3 players to Division 1 programs but they look to reload with a mixture of youth and seasoned players. They will lean on BYU commit [player_tooltip player_id='796745' first='Kennedy' last='Woolston'] a player that has size and shooting ability. Woolston is likely to jump center and also be a lead guard. If she gets going from deep she can rattle of 5+ with ease before you can call a timeout. Players they will need to step up quickly will be [player_tooltip player_id='796473' first='Zuri' last='Nordstrom'] and [player_tooltip player_id='849040' first='Lave' last='Holdcraft']. The Knights will also lean on [player_tooltip player_id='819666' first='Katy' last='Lawrence'] a guard that does a little bit of everything and can also shoot from deep.

Clovis West out of Fresno, California is a powerhouse themselves as they went 31-3 last season a team that lost to Archbishop Mitty who lost to Etiwanda the # 1 team in the country. Clovis West was ranked #6 in all of California last season. They return 13 players from last years talented team. [player_tooltip player_id='570459' first='Riley' last='Walls'] is arguable their best player coming back as she is a D1 bound athlete that has an offer from Fresno State. She can score in bunches and she has great vision. Watch out for [player_tooltip player_id='768041' first='Malohni' last='Warren'] is another player you need to keep an eye that can shoot the rock.

Copper Hills vs. Rancho Christian (CA)

Copper Hills had a very impressive season that really took this team to new heights. They do graduate a few pieces that are very important but they have a few coming back that will pick up the slack. [player_tooltip player_id='788192' first='Skylie' last='Barker'] is as good a guard as they have on the team and she is a next level player for sure. She is a strong lead guard that can play physical. [player_tooltip player_id='789127' first='Ayla' last='Marston'] is another player that provides elite defense and slashing to the rim. Keep an eye on [player_tooltip player_id='788318' first='Aspen' last='Fraser'] and [player_tooltip player_id='848843' first='Taylor' last='Johnson'] who both have height and they both play with a great understanding of the game and could come in clutch for The Grizz.

Rancho Christian out of Temecula, California had a great run in the playoffs and they return their best player in [player_tooltip player_id='570416' first='Julia' last='Wilson'] a 5'10 PG that averaged 17 PPG. She has committed to play basketball at Gonzaga University. This girls is a power guard that creates contact. Be ready for a physical game with her. Ebony Taylor-Smith is heading into her junior year as she put up 15 PPG. [player_tooltip player_id='1252604' first='Alyson' last='Boyd'] is a player heading into her junior year as she put up 12PPG. Almost anyone significant is coming back on this team and they will be a tough out. Expect a 1-2-2 and a lot of three pointers and from deep. [player_tooltip player_id='570448' first='Bella' last='Cosme'] is another player that can score and let it fly.

Snow Canyon vs. Pocatello (ID)

Snow Canyon will be lead by one of the best guards in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='788151' first='Olivia' last='Hamlin'] a PG that has been tearing it up on the EYBL Circuit and she has been racking up the offers. [player_tooltip player_id='788224' first='Kelly' last='Howard'] is a player that will need to step things up and we think she can, she is a good player that can score. [player_tooltip player_id='790569' first='Joey' last='Jensen'] is another guard that packs a scoring punch. If Snow Canyon can get excellent guard play they could pull this one out.

Pocatello returns all but one player from last years team. Good luck with Kenna Garza a fierce post player that can also step outside and shoot the ball. She will require a double team, if not good luck. She is a D1 prospect that has a few offers. They will run everything through her and she has a few players on the team that will shoot the ball well and get to the rim.

When it comes to these Utah girls getting recruited a lot of teams have opted to take their teams to Section 7 and we have some talented teams that will be present. Let's take a look at some of the teams that will be in Arizona in a few weeks.
