We have reached the final event of the spring season, and we are here in Indy for the PGH Victory Region Finals. I have the 16U age group this weekend, and will have a variety of stories coming your way this weekend including later a look at some top point guards I see, the All-Tournament team, and now a look at some of the Saturday morning players who caught my attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='905090' first='Samantha' last='Ailabouni'] - Midwest Basketball Club 2026 Wood

In the early morning game on Saturday it was Samantha who came out with a good morning showing. She is a solid perimeter shooter who knocked down a big three with pressure on her. She also showed the ability to get past her defender and push to the rim.

Akiyah Wade - Midwest Basketball Club 2026 Wood

Akiyah plays with good intensity. Can explode to the rim. The more I watched her, the more impressed I was with how focused she was. Still has some parts of her game to work on, but I do like where she it at. Could use the summer to make her game even better!

Caitlin McCauley - KYP FS 2026

Plays the game at a good pace, able to get downhill for the finish at the rim. Smart player and looks for the best option. She is mechanical and smooth. Good perimeter game, can knock down the three.

Audrey Whitlach - Midwest Basketball Club 2026 Grein

Audrey has a great nose for the ball, she's able to get in position and do damage on the offensive boards. Aggressive and athletic with a nice mid range pull up jumper. Great job anticipating the game! (feature photo above)

Madison Spivey - Michigan Knights

Madison showed that she has a solid catch and shoot perimeter game. Also does an excellent job defending on ball with quickness and active hands. She seemed to play well in an uptempo game, she can run the floor and create opportunities for her team.

Nylah Hough - Michigan Knights

She has a great first step that explodes to the rim, then gets by her defender with a chance to finish. Does a good job catching around the rim with smooth soft touch at the rim. Physical player who can battle and make plays.
