1A Players to Watch

Last year Nooksack Valley defeated Deer Park to claim their first state title. She helped lead the Lyncs to the state semi-finals before losing to Deer Park by 1 point. She was the main ball handler and scoring option and will likely be in that same role once again. Ella has great ball handling abilities and knows how to score and get her teammates involved. Fritts should be on the radar by big time 4 year schools. Anderson scores the ball so well and can easily score 20 points a game and being able to dish out 10 assists a game. She rebounds better than most guards, using her high motor to go get the ball high off the glass. She plays very high level defense, being able to defend all positions on the court and do so at such a productive way. She scores from all 3 levels, having such a deadly shot in the mid-range. Her unique dribble moves keep defenders on their toes when attempting to guard her. Walling has great form and is consistent off the catch and can even pull up off the dribble. She moves off the ball well allowing herself to get open looks, even if it's a foot or two beyond the three point line. Walling is poised for a bigger role in facilitating the offense, which I think she will excel at.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
