July has come to a close and it's been enjoyable to watch high-level basketball at this time of year. This is the best possible time to discuss the commitments or the latest offers from top institutions made so far. These 5 girls listed below are just a few of the latest recruiting news from the region. These girls have striking talent and deserve the recognition from their play recently.    [player_tooltip player_id='395797' first='Morgan' last='Jenkins'] (2025) | 6'2 PF | Hotchkiss   Morgan is an underrated talent at the power forward position. Jenkins is a great option for a top of the key midrange or a shot in the short corner. She's a strong player that makes herself available and seals defenders for entry passes. One of the top rebounders as well, regardless of where she may find herself on the floor. Morgan simply keeps possessions alive and gives her team extra life in crucial moments. On defense, Jenkins stands out due to her ability to play vertical when blocking a shot. Morgan uses her long arms to shield the basket from any opposing player trying to drive into the paint. After an excellent defensive play, expect Morgan to hit the outlet pass and run the lane until she makes herself an overwhelming target. Jenkins is a pleasure to watch in real-time on the floor. She is that connecting piece to a winning team. Morgan is fresh off offers from schools like Bryant University, JMU, Brown and Robert Morris.     [player_tooltip player_id='389884' first='Charlotte' last='Adams-Lopez'] (2025) | 5'8 CG | Bishop Feehan   Charlotte is star quality combo guard that is consistently putting pressure on the defense. Adams-Lopez can knock down the 3 in transition or within the offense. She uses her scoring nature to set up others easily on the wings or down low. Charlotte's finishing ability is up to par with some of the best talents around. Finishing with either hand isn't a problem for her. She has the masterful skill of putting the perfect spin on the ball as it kisses off the backboard too. Adams-Lopez is quite the talent to put it simply. She committed to Brown University earlier this week.     [player_tooltip player_id='295914' first='Bailey' last='Breen'] (2026) | 6'3 PF/C | Oceanside   Another super skilled big with a ton of upside from the Bay State Jags, what's new? The 6'3 versatile big can play both inside and out. Breen can put the ball on the floor for a few dribbles while she creates for herself in route to getting a basket and she can consistently knock down jump shots in the offense. She also understands how to seal defenders before she's able to get to her developed post moves on the block. On defense, Bailey is a solid anchor on the floor. She uses her strong base and height to disrupt incoming players driving to the basket. She can also hold her own one-on-one in the post. Bailey is in the class of 2026, but has already received offers from schools like North Florida and Kent State.     [player_tooltip player_id='998269' first='Fope' last='Ayo'] (2025) | 6'3 C | Austin Prep   Fope is one of the hottest names on the AAU recruiting circuit. The 6'3 big has brute strength and commanding size that aids her both offensively and defensively. Ayo makes herself available to catch the ball despite defenders shading her to a side or fronting her. Once one of her teammates puts up a shot, expect Fope to crash the glass hard to try to come up with anything that comes off the rim. Defensively, Ayo is everywhere trying to stop offenses from getting to the rim. She can hold her own against anybody on the block and gets over quickly to play help side defense too. Fope has received a plethora of interest/offers from schools like, Memphis, Princeton, Auburn and North Carolina.     The lengthy 6'3 big has committed to UPenn earlier this month. She's coming off a transfer season from overseas to PSA. Lipatova has adjusted well from more action on the floor. She has a high ceiling and catches rhythm within the flow of the game. Kate has developed over the past year, including raising her court awareness and fine tuning the sophisticated post moves. Kate isn't ball dominate, rather an x-factor type of player. She scores within the offense and rarely forces up shots that aren't there. Lipatova can stretch the floor with the 3-pointer, but also has the skill to put it on the floor traditionally. As a defender, she is stellar in the post or playing drop coverage when asked to. Kate has a ton of upside and will make an excellent addition to the UPenn team.
