The live period is fast approaching and Louisville, Kentucky will once again play host to the largest basketball event in the world. Run 4 Roses will see thousands of teams play on over 100 courts! These are ten players from the Garden State who I anticipate will see their respective stocks rise when the Classic concludes:

[player_tooltip player_id='651513' first='Deana' last='Finkelstein'] | Jersey Gemz

We're on to Nike stop #3 and Deana looks to build upon everything she's worked hard for this summer. At 5'10", she is a formidable presence on defense who uses her size to both command and protect the paint. She's developed a fearless dribble-drive game and takes the defender off the bounce with extreme confidence. She reads the defense quite well in transition and if she doesn't have numbers going full steam ahead, she'll pull it back out and patiently set up the offense or creates off the drive and kick. She knows what she's capable of and just goes out there and executes.

[player_tooltip player_id='976652' first='Adriana' last='Summersett'] | [program_tooltip program_id='774068' first='NJ' last='Panthers']

Fresh off picking up offers from Nichols College and St. Joseph's NY-Brooklyn, Adriana knows the time is NOW. She is ready to showcase her talent and skill-set in front of just about every college coach in America! She keeps a sharp focus even when the defense is coming at her heavy! She manufactures in traffic and moves the ball well, but is also capable of knocking down big shots, even with the defense hawking her every move. Rock solid from deep, she does a fantastic job getting to her spots around the perimeter, squaring herself to the basket and delivering off the catch. There is versatility at the guard spot with her because she can facilitate and score it equally as efficiently, regardless of who she's facing. There is no trepidation in her game!

[player_tooltip player_id='600897' first='Gabriella' last='Mittelman'] | Jersey Gemz

The ceiling is high on this one! I'm talking cathedral high! She quick, crafty and runs the offense to perfection. Her ball-handling is strong and the way she knifes to the rim is assertive just graceful. And while a lot of her scoring is on rim-runs and dribble penetration, she can flat-out shoot that thing! Strong off the pick and pop and quick to pull the trigger from deep, there really isn't an area on the floor where Gabby doesn't feel comfortable shooting it from. She plays with pace, control and sharp awareness.

[player_tooltip player_id='333323' first='Aleena' last='Dinker'] | [program_tooltip program_id='714654' first='NJ' last='Shoreshots']

This electric point guard has shown up in a big way all season long! Her basketball IQ is just as high as her GPA and she is one of the most selfless, pass-first PG's I've scouted this summer. Her court vision never ceases to impress and the way she delivers passes with precision is truly a sight to see. She finds the smallest of gaps in the defense and threads the needle beautifully, executing in impressive fashion. As terrific as she is dishing dimes, she can also sink some big shots from deep and does a great job carving paths to the rim. She stays true to her game and knows how deep her bag is.

[player_tooltip player_id='601266' first='Kennedy' last='Brown'] | Jersey Gemz

There is so much bounce to this girl's game! Kennedy is electric in the open court and tough to slow down once she gets going in transition. With a high conversion rate off the catch and shoot, she means business from 3-point land, even with the defender's hand pressed squarely in her face. She is menacing off the bounce and even through a sea of defenders, somehow she gets it to fall at the rim time and time again. Her ability to weave through traffic and keep the dribble tight to her body is definitely impressive! She will bring the show to the Expo center as EYBL Session 3 kicks off on the 12th.

[player_tooltip player_id='333334' first='Riley' last='Fitzpatrick'] | CJ Hawks

Cool, calm and collected under pressure, Riley thrives in situations that a lot of players would crumble in. Whether her shots are dropping or not, she never looks fazed and certainly doesn't let a shooting slump rattle her. Like a gem, she builds and grows under pressure. She does a great job moving around the perimeter freely and knocking down 3's off the catch and shoot. She keeps the dribble alive while escaping traps and double-teams to carve a path to the hoop. One of her biggest strengths is taking full advantage of set screens and curling around swiftly to get a great look at the basket. Riley is crafty, makes smart decisions and gives her team quality minutes.

[player_tooltip player_id='414431' first='Kyley' last='Gary-Grayson'] | Team Melious

Finding herself on a new team halfway through the season, Kyley is ready to rock in Louisville! She is fresh off a phenomenal showing against Spain at the 2nd annual International Showcase where she led the way with 23 points and followed that up with a balanced 14-point, 7-rebound, 5-steal performance against Premier. She's quick and crafty, getting to the rim at will, at times spinning her way to the basket and finishing through contact. She has a motor that just won't quit and maintains high energy from the first whistle to the last. She's dependable from 3 and smooth off the PNR, but she's also so much more than just a scorer! She can be relied upon to do a little bit of everything and her two-way game is complete with pesky on-ball defense and a great effort on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='773989' first='Juliet' last='Johnson'] | [program_tooltip program_id='774068' first='NJ' last='Panthers']

Juliet is emerging as a formidable interior threat the way she has turned it up on the circuit this year! This is a player who really prides herself on defense and boy does it show! Standing 6'1", she protects the rim with authority, deflecting and swatting shots all while maintaining impressive verticality to not rack up the fouls. She is aggressive yet smart in her paint protection prowess. She controls the glass and on o-boards, she does a fantastic job going right back up with it for 2 without having to put it on the floor. Juliet runs the floor hard and is a freight train in transition; strong yet has terrific body control to avoid getting the charge call. She is capable of banging in consistent short baseline jumpers and though she doesn't shoot many 3's, she can absolutely knock them down if given the space and opportunity.

[player_tooltip player_id='601341' first='Sophia' last='Georgiades'] | United NJ

This dynamic lefty guard is a whole bucket! Soph has been putting in tremendous work all year and has a shot just as scorching as the summer heat! She's electric and explosive off the dribble, slicing and dicing her way to the hoop in crafty fashion. Her 3-level scoring is complete with step-back J's and deep 3's but she also plays smart and selfless basketball, passing up a good shot for an even better shot! She finds holes in the defense and distributes the ball cleanly, getting her teammates involved in the scoring. The same intensity she plays with on offense she brings to the defensive side of things, pestering and heckling the ball to force turnovers. She's clutch all the way around and never takes a play off.

[player_tooltip player_id='976672' first='Shannon' last='Heine'] | [program_tooltip program_id='714654' first='NJ' last='Shoreshots']

After a very impressive June that saw her crush it weekend after weekend, Shannon is primed to bring her jack-of-all-trades mentality to the Expo Center and show Kentucky what she's capable of. With a sharp well-rounded game, she is dependable to go out there and give her team the boost it needs to get the job done. She has so much depth to her two-way game because she can score it from multiple spots efficiently and defend at a high level with high energy and a focused demeanor. She's an undeniable workhorse who makes hustle plays and never stops fighting for her team, whether they're up or down. She's committed to being the best basketball player she can be, and doesn't try to copy or emulate anyone else's game. She's a smart player who recognizes her strengths and just goes out there and hoops!
