I'll take the last few days before I head down to the Bluegrass state, talking about some kids I haven't in a while. Today, we'll discuss some 2026s to keep tabs on these next few weeks.

There is a way to go before Hilbert can reach whatever her ceiling may be, but she shows flashes that make me believe she could be better than she expects. Hilbert has speed, length, and defensive potential. She moves her feet well and can stick onto defenders' hips as they try to get by her, and then uses her length to block shots at the rim. Hilbert didn't have a prominent role with DSHA a year ago, but there are signs there is something there. We'll see how she develops, but she's an intriguing 2026 for 1-on-1 Milwaukee.

After years of injuries, Krull being back on the floor is a win in its own right. However, I'm sure Krull wants to make up for lost time and prove a point to close out the AAU season, and I don't blame her. In Minnesota at Summer Jam, she showed some flashes of bursts, defensive intensity, and shooting, but it felt like Krull was still getting her footing with her [program_tooltip program_id='732460' first='Playmakers/Thrive' last=''] group. As she gets more comfortable on the floor, the more we'll see from her, the more she'll improve.

Over the last year, Bonow has gotten more comfortable with the pace at the high school level. She was used as a floor spacer at Elkhorn and demanded attention from defenses whenever she touched the ball. Over time, the consistency for her will come because I think she has a solid shot, and it looks good structurally. Every time someone has a knee injury, I'll always give them more leeway as they continue to reacclimate to basketball, and the shooting is something I'll keep tabs on with her.

Something about Spitzner is always entertaining to watch for me. Like every other Pewaukee kid, Spitzner can shoot it well and make shots in bunches. If memory serves correctly, Spitzner made six threes in the first half of the final game at May live period in Louisville. She's a kid who can make shots and defend kids taller than her, which shows that she has some versatility in her game. I don't know who'll be the first to go after Spitzner, but that kid will be productive at the next level.
