Watching the young ladies in the above picture took me back, to Gabbie Green, who started at JUCO and wound up playing for Pitt and La Tech, Kayleigh and Kaylynne Truong were both in the 4th grade when I started covering them before finishing up at Gonzaga. I guess Jasmine Smith (Rice) was a grade older when she made my first Tip Sheet and a slightly older Cate Reece (Arizona) as well as Tymberlyn Criswell (SMU, A&M Corpus Christi) grabbed my attention early and on the feature page, Alexis Morris who I accidentally caught her playing in an event I just happened to run across while she was in the 7th grade and I dropped #D1Lock, she won a National Championship at LSU

Hey, you can check the search bars not only on here but my WEBSITE and BLOG, I don't make foolish statements that are non-verifiable, I have receipts and none of what I do has anything to do with my daughter having over 100 D1 offers, and over a decade in the WNBA, it takes hard work to progress and get better which is why these ladies always come back to get some work with Chuck McCowan who happens to be a "teacher of the game". I loved the potential I saw in the 2028 group as they are showing me they WANT IT and are willing to PUT IN THE WORK as they enter their first high school season, here ya go

Hart has been watching her older sister Tymberlyn Criswell for, well ever so that's already a plus. I loved her energy, as well as being vocal and she pumped her teammates up by bringing IT on the court, on both ends. She went AFTA everything, off the rim, on the floor, and in the air, yes she played the passing lane yet her baseline-to-baseline pressure was also solid. She scored off the dribble after contact included. She also scored around the basket and dropped it from outside

Kelly gave me a great first look and when she elevated to not only score around the basket but also rebound on both ends of the court, I wrote UPS in CAPS and no CAP, that's huge. She also showed good timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots. Her first step was nice, it helped her get by the defender and score off the dribble yet her "on the ball" pressure helped create some turnovers and get her some steals, she also got a few doing what I love to see, playing the passing lane

Solberg also left a lasting first impression and guess what, her "hands and footwork" had me drop #THROWBACK, and speaking off drop, her drop step was also impressive yet she's long and athletic, which is the base. She defended in the set, the paint as well as in the fullcourt yet the powerful rebounding with authority was nice as she scored around the basket and on putbacks, yes she hit the boards on both ends. She also showed how strong she was off the dribble to score as contact was irrelevant
