While the AAU season came to an end recently, it's still time for us to celebrate and talk about some of the best players in the region and area that we saw from the spring and summer. We head over to the always competitive Mass Huskies program, one with plenty of talent that we'll be seeing at the next level.

Ali Linehan - Archbishop Williams (2026)

Despite coming off the bench often as a sophomore, Linehan proved to be a great complimentary player, featuring as a three-point specialist with great off-ball, on-ball movement. Knows where to be and when to be on the floor. Doesn't try to overdo things and very much benefits from excelling in her role. Excited to see what she can do defensively, which the sky is the limit for her in that department.

Shayne Dugan - King Philip (2026)

Dugan has shown herself to be a plug-and-play type of player, someone who can fit into whatever her team needs of her. This AAU season, we've seen her excel on the defensive end, manning the boards and controlling the glass. We've also seen her ball out offensively, stringing together double-digit performances galore. Strong balance of excellent defense and impressive offense.

Tabby McDonough - North Quincy (2027)

McDonough has used this AAU season as the time for her to grow into a must-play player at the high school level. While on one of the top teams within the Mass Huskies program, that's allowed the rising sophomore to find her game, even putting up some 20-point performances in the mix. Budding star talent that just needs more playing time, more opportunities to show what she's got and then some.

Anna Fafard - Hopedale (2026)

Fafard, quite the jack of all trades on the court and an impressive watch, no doubt. It starts with the shooting, one of the better three-point shooters on this team and a great three-point shot at that. Very impressive on-ball/off-ball movement for open looks. Can shoot in traffic and with pressure on her. Confident shooter at that as well, someone who wants the ball in her hand to make a big shot.

Molly Dishington - Nipmuc Regional (2026)

Dishington is what you look for in a game-changing type player, a go-to piece for productivity. Very balanced piece overall, someone who can score, someone who can go command the boards when asked, someone who's a staunch defender overall. Has a great feel for the paint and is the protector of the paint, not allowing opponents to get comfortable.

Ava McCoole - Canton (2025)

McCoole is one of three rising seniors on this squad, a balanced roster of all classes on the floor. She made her presence felt from the jump as a true leader and veteran presence on this AAU squad. Impressed with her maturity, which really rubbed off on others and led to greater success overall. When you look for defense on the floor, McCoole is one of the first people you think of, no doubt.

Debora Kalemi - Bellingham (2027)

Smaller point guard with plenty that she's already proven on the floor, Kalemi came out strong in her freshman season for Bellingham. That momentum carried into the AAU season where she's really worked on her overall skillset, excelling in places like perimeter defense, passing and fast break opportunities. The more that Kalemi can continue to be a quick guard, the better she's going to be in all phases of the game.

Megan Burke - King Philip (2025)

We have teammates on this team in Burke and Dugan, a dynamic duo in high school and also in the AAU scene. Like Kalemi, Burke is on the shorter side as a guard, but that hasn't inhibited her from being a successful piece. Her passing, that's something that's stood out tremendously when looking at what she's been able to do. Sneaky defensive piece and a great scorer overall, Burke is a great prospect.

Raina Tat - Stoughton (2025)

We end this article talking about Stoughton rising senior Raina Tat, yet another impactful point guard that's shared the basketball around and made some big plays of her own. Composure and poise are the two words that first come up when looking at Tat, a player who's been there before and come up clutch in important situations. She's able to slow down or speed up the game when needed, just a fantastic watch overall.
