July Evaluation: Charlotte Dream (part 1)

Beekman plays hard for the Charlotte Dream. She is a competitor on defense who anticipates passing lanes well. She forces steals and scores quickly in transition multiple times per game. Beekman has fantastic touch around the rim. Beekman is also very strong on the offensive and defensive glass. She is able to collect numerous rebounds and score on offensive putbacks for her squad.     Gonzalez is a special athlete who has a great feel for the game. She can change her speed and get to the rim or drop a perfect pass to a teammate to score. Gonzalez does an outstanding job of scoring through contact and frequently gets to the foul line for the Charlotte Dream. On defense, Gonzalez is extremely quick. She has great hands and creates havoc on the defensive end because of her athletic ability and high basketball IQ.     Allison has a smooth outside shot. She has range from deep behind the three-point line. When Allison catches outside the arc, there is a great chance the basketball is going through the net. Around the rim, she is physical. She is not afraid of driving hard to the rim and finishing with either hand. Allison finishes well and earns trips to the foul line as well.     Blickley pushes the pace for her team. She will collect a rebound and attack the basket. Blickley can score at the rim or she can set her teammates up with precision. She is an elite player in the open court. When the basketball is in Blickley's hands, good things happen for the Dream. She is a terrific offensive talent who continues to get better and better.     Frank is a competitor for the Charlotte Dream. She can positively impact a game with her outside shot or her intensity on defense. Frank is also an active defender who can create a great many steals and deflections in each contest. When her teammates find her on the perimeter, Frank is shot-ready. She is a lights-out shooter who can drain several three-point field goals each game for the Dream.
