Today, we're still trying to highlight some undervalued kids, even myself, and discuss what they do well. That said, we're talking about eight more players today who add something positive to their five-person lineups.

Taccari Hicks

The talent is there for Hicks. She has excellent footwork, is tough enough to power through contact, scores from all three levels, digs in to rebound, and has a nose for the ball. At a place like Case, she has to do everything for the Hawks to be competitive, and she does an excellent job at that. However, the main question for her is how she continues to raise the level of her teammates. People know she's dangerous and can score in bunches, but if she gets even more out of the other four kids on the floor, she becomes a much more intriguing prospect at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='953285' first='Sydney' last='Glynn']

The way that Glynn plays makes it hard to take off the floor. She's got good size for a wing and can guard multiple positions. Glynn finds herself in the right place at the right time to make plays on the ball. On the defensive end, Glynn finds a way to be involved with the play, flies up and down the floor in transition, and makes some points-saving plays by playing with effort. I saw her play a few times last season and liked her. She didn't play 30 minutes per game a year ago but starred in her role.

[player_tooltip player_id='595865' first='Molly' last='Olson']

Some kids have an edge to them that you can't teach, and Olson is one of them. I thought she was outstanding at the state tournament last March. Olson made some shots here and there, but her intensity on the defensive end of the floor stuck out. Olson got popped in the head by someone's elbow on the drive and looked hurt for a second until she jumped up desperately, trying to find her assignment for the baseline out-of-bounds play her team had to defend. I'm unsure what her ceiling is, but she's a fun player.

[player_tooltip player_id='891648' first='Aria' last='Bilke']

The Menasha wing came in physically prepared for varsity basketball. I thought she did an excellent job being a physical defender and was one of the Blue Jays better rebounders as a freshman. Her ability to help close out defensive possessions was a massive help for Menasha. Bilke also showed some positive signs in her perimeter game, knocking down a handful of jumpers, which I feel will improve over time as she gains offensive responsibility. Bilke's calling card is defense, and she'll continue to be one of the better defenders in the Bay for the next three seasons.

Today, we're still trying to highlight some undervalued kids, even myself, and discuss what they do well. That said, we're talking about eight more players today who add something positive to their five-person lineups.
