With many of these players from this group heading into high school, I was pleasantly pleased to see many from not only the 2028 class who are showing Top 100 plus potential yet after covering so many other divisions, beyond the 2030 class, I left smiling after opening day. I have tons of articles dropping, be patient and stay tuned

Brooklyn Hernandez (SA Lady Outlaws) 2030

Hernandez gave me the pull-up jumper in the set as wells the "stop and pop" in transition yet her ability to "catch and shoot" from deep just left me speechless. Release is quick and fluid from wherever she shoots and she showed she could rebound as well as score off the dribble, which ties into her going to coast and dropping the runner for the win

[player_tooltip player_id='895358' first='Addison' last='Arias'] (SA Lady Outlaws) 2030

Arias is already showing some dazzling ball handling and her variety of moves, including the crossover, coupled with the HEZ to get the defender off balance is ahead of her years. She creates her shot smoothly under pressure to either drop the jumper or attack the basket, her deceptive first step plays a part in that. Her court vision is solid, she applies"on the ball"pressure and played the passing lane and her feature image gives you an idea on what's coming

Jocelyn Ramirez ([program_tooltip program_id='712796' first='SA' last='Hoops'] Elite) 2028

Ramirez is smooth with the ball and she too has a deceptive first step to attack and finish off the dribble, after contact included. Her body control plays a part in that and helps her "stay with it" after the lick yet her court vision, either driving or in the set, well transition as well, was solid and she played the passing lane

Kylie Baum ([program_tooltip program_id='712796' first='SA' last='Hoops'] Elite) 2028

Baum showed she could drop bombs from deep, ala "catch and shoot" but she's a long and athletic guard, which is one of the bases and her ability to set the defender up to score off the dribble or drop the jumper, while being defended was nice. She also did a good job defensively and showed she could see the floor in the set as well as off the dribble

[player_tooltip player_id='1277508' first='Darryn' last='Sorrells'] (Texas Bad Girls) 2028

Sorrells is "long and. athletic" which is also the base and that's for a number of reasons because not only do I love evaluating that profile, so do many next level coaches. I enjoyed her slicing by defenders to score off the dribble and defy gravity on her finishes yet her pull-up jumper appears to be on the edge of becoming a threat. Her court vision is solid, so is her "on the ball" pressure and she plays the passing lane

Imani Winn (Texas Bad Girls) 2028

Winn plays taller than she is, so let me drop the #THROWBACK for not only that, but also for her giving me the drop step inside the paint. She's strong and powerful around the basket and that helps her score inside, putbacks included, yes she rebounds on both ends. She also did a good job defending inside the paint but showed she could sep outside of it and defend as well

Ava Thomas (RGV Venom)

Thomas is an athletic guard that has quite a few intangibles that will create some problems. She has a very nice crossover, going full speed, and her ability to see floor without slowing down is ahead of her years. She's heady and understands how to control the tempo but her pull-up jumper as well as scoring off the dribble keeps the defender guessing. Her defense is solid, and she plays the passing lane

Ivanna Yanez (RGV Venom)

Yanez showed she could not only create her shot under pressure but drop the midrange with ease, this includes "with a hand in her face". She also used a slightHEZ to attack and score off the dribble yet don't get it twisted because her "catch and shoot" from deep was also nice. She did a good job defending, on the ball, and played the passing lane
