Freshman Showcase Team 3 Evals

Not listed are the players who were on the All Showcase Team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='999529' first='Cyrinity' last='Chatman'] (Louisiana): A 5'5 guard guard who has good speed and good fundamentals. She turns the corner and gets downhill on the dribble effectively. She had some good finishes in the lane amongst the taller players. She also had an effective runner and some good coast to coast drives for layups.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='999538' first='Trinity' last='Chatman'] (Louisiana): A 5'3 point guard who good quickness and a nice feel for the game. Her court vision is excellent as she advanced the ball upcourt well and penetrated into the lane to drop dimes. She also has a nice float game when she gets into the lane.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='905177' first='Kate' last='Deck'] (Jackson): A 5'6 guard from the SEMO area who can score from all three levels. She was hitting open 3-pointers and she has the handles to create her own shot. She spent a lot of time working off the ball and finding her offense with movement.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Winnie Woods (California): A 5'10 wing player who was impacting play at both ends with her length and athleticism. She displayed some good footwork in the paint to get inside buckets. She uses ball fakes very effectively. She can handle the ball and facilitate offense. She was also getting deflections and steals on the defensive end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='966424' first='Kinsley' last='Lawson'] (California): A 5'5 point guard who is strong and was handling the offense with confidence and her high basketball IQ. She passes it well and she could shoot it from 3-point range. She was equally effective with the ball or playing without the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ansley “Grace” Martin (Iberia): A 5'7 guard who was hitting catch and shoot 3-pointers while also getting downhill on the drive. She also hit a couple of step back triples. I was also impressed with her rebounding. She was doing a good job of blocking out for position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Reagan Keener (St Teresa's): A 5'7 guard from Kansas City who plays a little bigger than her actual height. She was strong around the basket and rebounding with good toughness. She was also reading defenses well and moving without the ball to get open.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='990371' first='Veronica' last='Simmons'] (Francis Howell): A 5'6 guard who displayed some good plays in the open court. She was getting to the basket and scoring with either hand. Her instincts and anticipation on defense were also good.
