This is truly just the beginning of our in-depth previews before the start of the high school girls basketball season in New Jersey. We continue to go conference-by-conference to find some of the best talent to watch out for this winter. It's time to head over to the Colonial Conference to see what stars we'll be seeing soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='865698' first='Acadia' last='Walters'] - Haddonfield (2027)

In a program that has seemingly always produced stars in recent years, Haddonfield didn't have to wait long for its next star in [player_tooltip player_id='865698' first='Acadia' last='Walters']. An incredibly creative talent, her freshman season was littered with success across the board and she wasn't afraid to take risks on the court. Walters played like an upperclassman, a plyer with incredible poise, but someone who is so electric and can make a plethora of plays.

Nyla Ivey - Woodbury (2026)

Woodbury is in a similar boat to Haddonfield, a program with immense talent that has produced some big names and Division I players. As incredible talent leaves, new faces need to step up. Enter Nyla Ivey, a talented prospect on both sides of the ball ready for anything that came her way. She set the building blocks of success last season, a strong defensive player with a great feel for the post as well as an impressive talent offensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='600906' first='Kiersten' last='Callahan'] - Haddon Township (2026)

Haddon Township has two big pieces returning, perhaps none bigger than Kierstern Callahan, undoubtedly the backbone of this team going into her junior season. She took a massive stride as a sophomore to develop her game outside of three-point shooting and did just that. Impressed with what she's been able to do inside the perimeter and in the lane. That's opened up more success and efficiency from three.

[player_tooltip player_id='835864' first='Emma' last='Harris'] - Haddon Heights (2027)

Haddon Heights, another team with a recent star going away, found an incredible Class of 2027 talent in [player_tooltip player_id='835864' first='Emma' last='Harris']. She's the real deal and then some, truly a juggernaut that cannot be stopped. Averaging around 16 points a game and more than two three-pointers a game is no small feat in one's first high school season. She plays with conviction and with passion, an elite-level talent already finding her footing.

[player_tooltip player_id='583452' first='Sami' last='Szabo'] - Haddon Heights (2025)

Alongside Harris on this Haddon Heights team is [player_tooltip player_id='583452' first='Sami' last='Szabo'], a senior that has been a benefactor of the Garnets' run and gun offense. Heights likes to shoot and shoot a lot, making more than eight threes a game last season alone. Szabo made more than one three-pointer a game as part of that and with several major seniors leaving, that leaves an opening for her to become a shooting demon.

[player_tooltip player_id='871551' first='Lexi' last='Kuhn'] - Sterling (2026)

We've already gotten the chance to talk about several successful three-point shooters, so why not include another! Kuhn is in an interesting situation as Sterling will have some much-needed holes to fill coming into the winter. Players will need to step up and come up big, so why not the sharp-shooter who hit 1.6 threes a game last season? We're curious to see how her overall offensive game will develop and change in this junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='865704' first='Tatum' last='Hinson'] - Collingswood (2027)

There haven't been standouts to talk about with Collingswood, unfortunately, in recent years, but that's since changed when freshman [player_tooltip player_id='865704' first='Tatum' last='Hinson'] entered the fold. Going into her sophomore season, she's already been a double-figure scorer on average and definitely can rack up double-doubles. All attention will be on her, allowing her teammates to develop and grow, hopefully bringing with it more balanced production across the board.

[player_tooltip player_id='583451' first='Skyy' last='Beeks'] - Lindenwold (2025)

Lindenwold is going to have a great senior frontcourt partnership to look forward to this season in [player_tooltip player_id='583451' first='Skyy' last='Beeks'] and Lillian Clarke. Clarke was the better shot-blocker of the two, nearly averaging three blocks a game, but Beeks was one of the best all-around pieces in the Colonial Conference: 15 double-doubles in 20 games, 15+ points and rebounds per game on average and a dominant force in the steals department.

[player_tooltip player_id='583464' first='Bella' last='Fini'] - Gateway (2025)

Gateway had Angelina Zagone dismantle defenses and lead the charge for the Gators over the last few seasons. Now, Gateway needs a new player in charge, and [player_tooltip player_id='583464' first='Bella' last='Fini'] seems like the perfect replacement to help recoup that production. She's a proven scorer that has excelled on the boards. Her offensive production increased significantly last season and she's done a great job riding the wave as she's gotten more time on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='600910' first='Emma' last='Speyerer'] - Audubon (2026)

There's a two-headed monster coming back for Audubon for this season, looking to be one of the best in the conference again. Speyerer provides depth from the outside and the guard position, hitting 1.7 threes a game as a sophomore along with nearly 12.0 PPG. Solid defense prospect too that will only improve with time. As part of this young nucleus, she's now a veteran leader and has proven she can be a star.

[player_tooltip player_id='414289' first='Ashley' last='Flynn'] - Audubon (2025)

Completing the two-headed monster is senior [player_tooltip player_id='414289' first='Ashley' last='Flynn'], someone who's had a turbulent career after getting injured as a sophomore, limiting her playing time. She returned back to form as a junior, an impressive shot-blocker, interior defender and scorer. We know she can turn into a double-double machine, but she needs to put the pieces together and unlock that potential on the glass to get her there.
