A good amount of top ranked talent mixed with some new faces from the region showed up to the showcase over the past weekend and there were a decent number of girls to take a look at. The formidable play led to a competitive atmosphere that was a joy to watch. There was outstanding play from a handful of girls, however there were some underrated players that made an impact on the floor. Below are 5 understated showings from the showcase.

Jordan was solid on the floor throughout the day. The dynamic combo guard offers timely and quality 2-way play. Jordan certainly has a nose for the ball. She was all over the floor wherever the ball happened to be and found herself leading her teams to early offense. St. Germain has the ability to push the pace by herself or start the secondary break. She was able to get to her spots within the lane and make some tough layups at the basket. Defensively, St. Germain showed brisk lateral movements and even picked players up from halfcourt at times. Altoghter, Jordan is a well-founded prospect that had a positive influence on the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1005218' first='Harper' last='Zalaski'] (2026) | 6'0 Forward | Keene

The long and athletic wing was impressive on Saturday. Harper showed she could contribute on both ends of the floor. The versatile forward was able to show persistent shooting no matter what station she was at. In 5v5 play her ability to seamlessly fit with teammates was shown off. She repeatedly gave them an outlet option as she was able to find the open space on the floor. Her endurance was a major plus as well. Zalaski's long strides made it able for her to glide ahead of opponents in the open floor. She also showed the capacity to push the ball and go coast-to-coast before the defense was able to set themselves up. Harper provided some timely blocks on the day too. She wasn't afraid to get grimy down low while also showing hustle due to her determined attitude to get to the loose balls. Harper was definitely one of the more underrated performers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1005217' first='Grace' last='Bright'] (2027) | 5'6 Forward | Bedford

Grace was a solid performer during the showcase. The forward was able to set up her teammates with well-grounded screens that gave them extra space to operate. Bright operates effectively in the halfcourt, especially in handoff action that gives scoring threats additional options as Grace is an ideal choice to kick out to. Grace's ability to shoot really opens up the court and the convenient shot was almost just as efficient as a close range shot for her. Her frame allows her to engage contact on both sides of the ball. Bright was a solid defender when guarding any opponent down low. She was able to play vertically to help deter shots from the taller players down low. Overall, Grace was a sound performer at the showcase.

Simmons showed the dynamic ability to combine her natural natured facilitation skills with a plethora of penetrating attacks. Simmons has the capacity to finish with either hand, floaters or drive to kick to perimeter shooters. Throughout the showcase Kyrieh played with a tempered pace within the halfcourt, but she possessed enough athleticism to push the tempo and get out in the open court quickly. Simons was also a worthy defender that accepted all challenges on that end despite her smaller stature. Kyrieh demonstrated that she could assist her teams with productive play at the point guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1005215' first='Courtney' last='Anderson'] (2027) | 5'11 Forward | Hudson

The long and agile Anderson had one of the more underrated performances on Saturday. She brought her adaptable game that showed up in many ways no matter the station. She provided steady shooting from the wings and even finishing tough layups under the rim. Courtney was using her long frame to out-position girls for rebounds throughout the day. She also posed as a 2-way defensive threat by being able to guard players penetrating into the paint and sticking with perimeter ball handlers. Anderson had a statement block in 5v5 play that was absolutely phenomenal. She was able to run back to the paint to play help-side defense and then quickly recognize the open player, turn her hips before swiftly breaking down to shuffle in preparation of swatting a shot made out on the wing. With Anderson's multifaceted game she showed, it was clear she was an understated performer.
