Fall Open Gym: Wakefield Guards

Briggs is a player. She can handle the basketball well in the open court, and Briggs makes great decisions for her team. She is always looking to set up a teammate for an open three. Briggs can also shoot the basketball or drive to the rim and score as well. She is a smart player who has a fantastic feel for the game and a very high basketball IQ. Briggs is a competitor on the court who gives all she has for her team. She has a motor that never stops. Briggs goes hard on offense, on defense, in sprints at practice, and on the glass for her Wakefield.     McIntyre leads the way for Wakefield. She is their vocal leader and ensures things are done the right way on the court. She is a natural leader. McIntyre can attack the rim to score or to draw defenders and kick to a teammate. When McIntyre turns the corner, she is hard to stop. She finishes well at the rim and is unafraid of contact in the paint. She is always communicating to her team and leads by example as well. She won every sprint in this open gym and showed urgency on the court in every drill.     Ritter has a pretty shot with three-point range. She can drain several threes in any game. Ritter can also draw multiple defenders and pass. She has elite vision and she is an unselfish player on the court. Ritter is a team player and a hard worker for Wakefield. She is willing to set screens, dive on the floor, get after it on the boards, and defend with pride. She is a special senior who is ready for an exceptional season on the court.     Ford runs hard in transition. She can score in stride when she gets to the basketball. She can also grab a rebound and led the break to pass or knock down a pull-up jump shot. Ford is a skilled player who communicates well on both offense and defense. Additionally, Ford is a lockdown defender on the court. She is a strong leader who is willing to do whatever her team needs.
